Yes Silentt

are you talking about liquid that has dripped/leaked into the collection tank being pulled back into the odysseus?

edit: And I will take a picture of what I did with my dual coil cartos in the ody tomorrow. It leaked and I got frustrated so I disassembled it and cleaned everything and put it away for the night. I goto sleep early during the week. Works drains me and the sleeping pills knock me out :)

My base as an o-ring in the bag with it.
Watching the vid, I didn't see him put an o-ring anywhere on the new base.
Is this an extra, or something I need to use?

I'm not taking anything else out of its bag until I can see some drawings/pics of what everything is. LOL

I didn't think the GGTS catch tank was supposed to allow you to draw extra liquid back up into the atomizer, I thought that was only a function of the UFS catch tank which has a sloped interior that feeds extra liquid back into the center post. I think the design of the GGTS catch tank is so that you can blow out an atty which might be flooded, say if you are dripping on a 510. Besides if you did draw up the exra liquid into the ody rebuildable atty, it would just gurgle since it woulden't make it to the wick but instead sit in a pool inside the ceramic. But maybe we could try using the GGTS ody base with a UFS catch tank and see what happens, because I'm not positive, but I don't think it would have good results unless maybe a piece of wicking material is strategically placed into the ceramic in some way.

The O-Ring that came with your GGTS -> Odysseus base does indeed go onto the base at the bottom of the threads. I havent got the illustrations done yet but I am working on them.

Thanks Zoranth!
I did read where you are working on them.
I have the new base on and working, and will wait patiently for you to finish before I use anything else.

True, but the Crown in your mouth is not constantly being heated up to the temperatures that the Ceramic in the Odysseus is being subjected to.

@Zoranth: What do you think you have in your mouth, when you get a crown "cemented" in your mouth by a dentist?
You can get it at your local dentist ... (mine didn't even charge for it), since you only need a little bit.

Thank you harekira, I do appreciate it ;)

Things like the fact that Super Glue is used to mend skin cuts at times instead of stitches. But, is highly toxic when placed under heat.

I know you are not talking about super glue, but I do not know what the heat characteristics are for the ceramic glue you were referring to are.

I will see if I can dig up some info on it and track down the MSDS sheets on it and go from there.

yes, the base doesnt do that Zor. You have to empty the CT when it gets full
Imeo,

I love the new GGTS -> Odysseus base. However, there is one small issue I am having. It does not seem to be pulling any excess liquid out of the collector tank.

Anyone else have this problem or is it that I have something put together wrong?

gosh I will be so so overwhelmed.

And hey since I made it here this may be a silly question but how the hack do I figure out the ohm when making my atty? It seems to be a guessing game? or can I actually know "oh ok now I put the wire 3 times around this thing and we are at 2.8ohm"? I am the worst person when it comes to handy work I am honestly scared.

igetcha has a nice video making a pretty normal coil/wick, I'd watch that, too....

You figure it out by:
1. Afterr attaching the first NR wire, slide your multimeter down the R wire until you reach the desired resistance and kink it there.
2. Attach the other NR wire at that point maximum
3. Wrap and attach per the videos.:thumb:
