To my GG Fam, a BIG thanks for the advise and I don't have anymore leak using my Ody in BIG mode!!!!!! Yipeeee!
But now, I have a bigger problem..
I need to find a battery that would last as long as my tank-Full-Of-juice Ody!! My 18650 is NOT enough.

This is what I'm really waiting for, would love to get the dripping mode complete on its own. Already have iatty and can't justify buying the whole ensemble plus I prefer a small setup.
machine shop is really big with 10 cnc machines fright. But all GG series are made from steel that needs 3 times more to be produced and the bad part is that I make difficult pieces. The worse of all is that GG constructions have a lot of pieces all the time. If I was making a simple atomizer like some others on the market I would be able to make 10 times more. But wanting to do crazy things has a cost on time
Yeah Imeo but that's why you make the best PV on the market. That's why you have a cult following and that's why we are willing to wait. Because we know we're getting the best PV money can buy.

make an experiment:
put 0,15 or 0,16 resistance wire on Ody. Dont connect "no resistance" wire with the resistance wire, leave it as it is. Make 3 loops on the wick and then connect the rest of the resistance wire as usual.
for 6 volts vaping

for 6 volts vaping
resistance came at 4,5 ohms Hare. But dont look at the whole resistance, just make 3 loops on the wick.
My current Ody setup is my fave so far:
Big mode with 1.6 ohm dual coil setup, double wick with the second wick's ends hanging out into the tank (first wick down in slots as normal), running 6V. Loaded up with DIY mix of DV White Grape right at the moment
Doubled 2mm wick is a really tight fit going through the top of the channels, but it's still wicking fine with 50% VG. Going through juice pretty fast, though

Hey Ribble I appreciate it bud,however, it sounds to me like Cherry ice cream with banana chuncks. I get what you are saying but hack I would not even know where and how to put my meter lol. It was for sure a wise choice to drop $250 on something that will take me a lifetime to figure out.
Anyways I hope that when it arrives and I figure it out I have something so versatile(?) with so many options that it will enjoy it for a long time and safe a lot of money. As of right now though, I don't think I can figure it out but I sure hope I can.

igetcha has a nice video making a pretty normal coil/wick, I'd watch that, too....
You figure it out by:
1. Afterr attaching the first NR wire, slide your multimeter down the R wire until you reach the desired resistance and kink it there.
2. Attach the other NR wire at that point maximum
3. Wrap and attach per the videos.

A cheapy multimeter (not an autoranging meter) is the easiest to use

If I want to use a 510 atty on the ody do I actually need the expansion pack to do so or not? I mean I bought it anyways but I was just wondering if I do need it.
Also this may result in some eye rolling from some but what really is the expansion kit? What other options does the kit allow me? I don't know after watching the videos if he used the expansion kit or not. I thought the ody is just a rebuildable atty tank so to say and with the expansion kit I can use different modes as in short mode, long mode, use regular attys etc am I right?
And last but not least if I use a regular atty with the ody do I have to punch holes into the atty to feed it?

Little trick I picked up on while using the 510 Atty mode, Remember the old BF Hybrid Atty's Bruce sold, well there was a little rubber washer around the bottom of the Atty right. Sometimes while screwing your 510 Atty onto the fitting on the Ody the wholes dont line up in the slots right, well if you put this little rubber washer on the threads on your Atty it will line up your Atty holes perfectly for those Attys that dont line up, thus giving you the perfect feed set up. I was running some Iken & HH-357 Attys and they where not lining up properly so I tried this and it worked perfectly to line up those 2 little holes on the Atty with the slots on the Ody Atty fitting lining everything up perfectly. just a LiL something I've found to possibly help some.

Which o-ring is this please, between the nut and the base?
I'm using double wick, but still have major leaking in big mode.
It's ok until the juice gets about half gone, then it leaks and gurgles.

The o-ring here between the nut and base fixed all leaking for me, not had any since.
Yes Oddy, 15b is where I put the teeny tiny o-ring.
I think I remember somebody saying that was a 9x2mm o-ring (the one that goes under the small top cap), though I could be wrong on that. For that purpose, it doesn't need to be any particular size as long as it fits there, so if you have something that's reasonably close it'll still work.
hey that is amazing thanks for the breakdown. When I came to vaping it took a while to understand the difference between 510, 808, 901/cartos,attys/ batteries and now look at that, there are aprox. 16 pieces and that is the EXPANSION KIT ALONE HOLY CHUNCKY MONKEY!!
