I forgot to tell you that while I was thinking that SS mesh was not good, I made a search for silver mesh and it exists.

All those things about mesh is only for people that have a leakage with Ody. Not all of us have this issue, so if you are ok with your Ody there is no reason to try that.

On friday, i arrived from a road trip and opened my Ody parts kit. Once I figured out what I needed for the 6.5ml extension, i made a new coil and filled the thing. It holds alot of juice but the GGTS cap is mindblowing. I could not believe how much I missed my air control. In the past month, I've used the Ody with a stealth cap running 7.4v.
My first drag off the thing knocked my socks off. Its So much better with air control

Just amazing design, engineering and manufacture. I work with precision machinery all day, everyday but this stuff is tops.

Imeo, you really are an asset to the vaping community.

Yep, I thought the same thing. I just got lazy with the darwin on my coil making. At 3.7 volts I need to make my coils at a lower ohm's to get some more heat.............but MAN the vapor production and flavor is to kill for...what a combo

I read a couple of pages back where my friend Vaporologist said he has had little to post due to his extreme satisfaction with this device. Everyone here knows how chatty I love to be but Vlad hit the nail on the head.

By the time I was able to use my expansion kit, the O-ring fix was documented so I can't even complain about leaking! I will be repetitive though and say again that this device he redefined vaping for me. The complete set effectively negates the need for any other device.

As we often say, I don't know how Imeo will top this effort but he is a man of many surprises. I am excited to see and use his next creation but it isn't for lack of satisfaction with the Odysseus. I really can't see the tank system getting any better than this.

I don't have any mesh or o-rings except the ones that came with the Ody and expansion kit.
I will say the vapor production improved greatly with the new base.
I thought I had my leaking fixed.... rebuilt this morning, took the bottom ring and o-ring off the bottom of the post before I wrapped my NR wire around it to make sure I wasn't getting in the threads.
Wrapped about 1 and 1/2 times, and was able to get the ring on nice and tight, put the o-ring back on and not a drop leaked.
However, now that the big mode tank is about half empty, it's starting to leak again.

I didn't have any leaks in short mode with the new base. What is it with the big mode?
Until I can get my hands on some o-rings or mesh, is there another solution?

It may be that your coil is gunked up and you either need to change it or dry burn. I find that with my juice I need to dry burn every time I fill in big mode or every 2-3 fills in short mode.
Thanks fright. You're right.Did a rinse with hot water and dry burned.juice control working with lots of vapor.need to do a new coil soon.tq.

After getting my Ody works in Big mode, and make sure that I'm well-stacked on juices, wires and wicks.. Now, I can say that I can start saving some $$$ for the Next Big Thing that Imeo has to bring, and spend spare time on watching and waiting for whatever the next GG mod to come. Hope I won't be waiting for awhile.:2c: :2c: :2c:

yes soul. Double the wick or put the NR negative wire inside Ody base, so this wire will be touch the inside of the big ring that keeps the rebuildable in place and the inside of the Ody base

Thanks Imeo.
Just to be sure I'm understanding you......
one end of the NR wire would go as usual under the small ring that goes over the top of the ceramic/ceramic housing,
and the other end, instead of wrapping around the post I just screw on the base over the wire?

Have already doubled up the wick, and this did help.

no soul. You wrap the NR wire at center post and the other NR wire just follows the wick inside the ceramic slot. But this wire has to be not under the wick but on the wick so it will be touched by the internal threads of locking ring and the internal threads of Ody's base
