I agree, My last coil I made I hate to put it this way but.... I think I was not paying attention:closedeyes:...I alway do a great coil:?:But I got sloppy and cocky at the same time:facepalm:, Had a reality check...made a new coil ...happy again
Killjoy, I suspect your NR wire which makes contact and is secured to the upper ring was probably making contact somewhere and maybe you cross threaded (by just one thread) your upper ring around the ceramic housing. This ring can easily be cross threaded and if it does you'll get a leak (with thin juice). The best way to avoid it is when you screw it all the way down rotate the base and see if it's flush everywhere. Also make sure when you screw it in your NR wire is not sticking out to make contact anywhere.

So here's my question. I was using a GGTS with a 901 atomizer... Dripping. I now have the odysseus drip mode. I vape at 6v. (2x123's 3v). I always enjoyed this set-up because I could utilize the adjustable draw and was very satisfied with it. I bought the odysseus drip mode. I love it! I got wrapping coils down, and getting my ohms right for my 6v. The problem I'm having: to attach the Odysseus drip mode to my GGTS, I've found I have to use a long 510 to 901 adapter, then a short (comes with GGTS) 901/510 adapter to then get it to attach deep into the collection tank of the GGTS to fit. This extinguishes the ability of the adjustable draw, and I get my draw from the openings around the adapter/bottom cap of the Odysseus. It causes a whistle, and I lose the control I was used to. Am I doing something wrong? I put a stealth cap on my GGTS and then added the Ody, It works, but it still whistles, and I can't adjust my draw... how can I get the best of both worlds? rebuildable atomizer (ody), adjustable draw (GGTS)? I was hoping the two would offer both together...... It's just I feel I get a better hit with a generic atomizer and the adjustable draw over the drip mode and the draw from the openings around the 510/901 adaptor. would love some advice. :)

You need this for Adjustable draw with the Ody, but you cant use it with drip mode! You can use your short mode ody as a huge dripper!

A picture would help, but if I understand the issue....you need to eliminate the air supply from everywhere except the collection tank. Then, the adjustable draw will perform like you want it to. Not being able to see the setup, I know if you make an adapter that fits flush with the top of the end cap, then you can utilize the adjustable draw with any device you attach to the GGTS.

Here's an example of the adapter....the slot is where the air comes into the tube and then to the attached device. The adapter fits entirely inside the collection tank.

Roseblue, with the setup you describe I have a suggestion that may help. If you have an o-ring that is a suitable thickness try putting that underneath your Ody drip base. This will force all air to come in through the collector tank's air control. It may or may not work depending on your particular adapters

That's it.... I told my wife, I need to block the holes at the top of my adapter. The adapters I have either don't reach far enough to connect into my GGTS collector tank, therefore unusable, or the only other one I have is a cm or two too long, but it has holes at the top (where the Ody drip meets), and that's where the air pulls..... yes, I believe I need an o-ring (901 size) or preferably, an adapter that accepts air below the top of the GGTS right? any suggestions on where to get that awesome adapter pictured above? Love my GGTS, just wanna love my Ody to the hilt as well. Thanks guys!

Trace where the device is getting it's air, block it off above the GGTS, make sure you have a air feed from the control tank to the device.....and you are all set.

Where did you get your adapter? That's EXACTLY what I need! It's just all the ones I find online have the slots at the threads, and yours fixes the issue. Can you remember where you got it? also, what's the length? It looks flush with your GG! Great adapter, I could probably cut the slot myself, but I still can't find an adapter without the air slots. Thanks so much for all your help.
