WooHooooooo! My first Ody ever!
I'm excited and nervous at the same time. I hope everyone masters their coil building skills over the next couple days.
I'm starting tonight.

I'm with ya blackwater! Very excited to try my first rba, but also a bit intimidated! I'm sure we'll be pros in no time though I fully expect there to be a fairly steep learning curve, but that is to be expected with out first rebuildables. My main concern is using up all my wick before I get a chance to order more, though I have an extra 3 ft. coming with Penelope. Plenty of wire though Good luck to ya!

Comparing the new Ody to the old ones I have I have to say its impressive! Better knurling on everything, better fitting for everything and the ceramic part/rebuildable part are very very nicely modified. Got to say it deepens my love for the Odysseus Now waiting to receive the Penelope, I bet it will do the trick for me as well

cool oddy arrived today all is well aprt from ceramic was in 2 pieces !! still managed to fit broken ceramic and wired it up ready wire came apart while winding it round wick but had some wire of my own twisted it up and hey presto very nice piece of kit hope ceramic holds out as its only wire tension holding it in place ordered 4 more while they are in stock so will be good to go for weeks .... i am using it on vv lava tube at 4volts wire i made 2.4 ohms will be ordering ggts as soon as poss job done 5 weeks no fags happy days

Was really pleased when my Ody arrived yesterday from Golden Greek UK but soon realised that I had the wrong mouthpiece/liquid control. The one that came is solid and cannot be screwed onto ceramic housing and as such renders my Ody useless. I have been e-mailing and phoning the supplier since and they will not answer anything. To say that I am unimpressed is a massive understatement. I dont know what to do next as the supplier is a very long way from me so going there is not possible but with them refusing to answer e-mails or phone calls im stuffed.

Suggestions welcome.

I will speak to the Greek seller to send you a new mouthpiece simon. The problem is that there are no threads inside the mouthpiece? Can you post a photo please?

After you send me the photo please send me your details so the Greek seller will send you a new mouthpiece

Thats correct Imeo, it is not even bored out to size. the hole is the same size as at top of mouthpiece. I will look at how to post a photo, not done it before.

I have my ceramic since I first started vaping Penelope. Ceramics are more than ok, no worries about that. I am sure your ceramic came broken to you by mistake buddy

yes tako. New pin was made without the channel because some people put a screwdriver on the old one and they broke it. So please dont put a screwdriver on it. But old pin is better because it allows you to use Ody inside UFS too

supplier's job is to serve their customers simon. Suppliers are a big nothing without their customers. So customers come always first. Especially the existing customers that have an issue are even more important.

Hello Imeo! I just received my drip mode parts from COV. The small base drip mode, small top nut/ring for drip mode, and the drip mode mouthpiece.

I had asked you earlier on in the thread if the o-ring that goes on the drip mode 510 base came with the base. The one I received from COV didn't come with the O-ring I needed Where could I go about finding one? What size would I need if I were to find one locally? Can I use one of them off my Ody when it arrives?

There is supposed to be an O-ring that goes on the base of the threads on the drip mode base correct? Between the bottom of drip mode mouthpiece and base?

You dont really need an o-ring for drip mode... but if you must have one Harbor Freight or your local hardware store should have what you need and then some....
