Are you using the standard wick that was included? I'm in exactly the opposite situation - its either dry or flooding. I'm probably doing something wrong. Just haven't figured out what it is quite yet

Yeah, using the stock wick. I spoke too soon, though, as it flooded a little bit on me just a few minutes ago. Closed the juice control a little and it's all good now. I'll have to give it another good cleaning after this tank is empty, the off flavor has diminished but isn't totally gone

Did you screw the mouthpiece down before you filled it. I assume you did but just getting the obvious out of the way.

Yup, starting off closed.

I'm wondering if maybe I have the wick pulled too tightly over the edge of the ceramic, creating too much of a gap between the wick and the juice control ring, and if its too tight that could also explain the dry hits / poor wicking. .... Maybe

Got mine yesterday afternoon. I had to sand down the threads just a little in order for it to screw down on any of my 510 devices. Got that handled and it's working really well on my Precise 18650. The adjustable center pin of the ody in combination with the flat top cap of the precise is pretty effective in regulating air flow. Still getting a little bit of a soapy taste with a 1.5 ohm coil built with the materials that came with the ody, but it is diminishing. I don't usually post a lot, but I wanted to pop in and say hello. The ody is a definate win in my book, thanks imeo.

Rebuilt it again, this time loosened up the wicks on the ends - even unraveled them so that they'd take up more space. This time, its not flooding at all, even while sitting wide open. The wicking still seems a little stifled. Starts tasting a bit dry after a couple puffs in a row. I'm using 100% VG - perhaps need to look into a different type of wick, Idunno.

I am using 65PG/35VG and I have gotten a couple of dry hits on like 4-5 fills but mostly very strong flavor and medium vapor (on a pretty shoddy looking coil). Hopefully you get it sorted soon, b/c I am thinking about selling everything but my GG off. To buy more GG.

Huh, both of mine look perfect (from COV) and I know Imeo would not ship these out like this. What I am wondering and or concerned about is the durability of the ceramic as it sits in the assembled Odysseus. Because I am bound to tip this over on my end table fairly often (have already) and it may roll off to the floor etc.. Wondering if you guys that got broken ceramic noticed ceramic dust or pieces inside the device or the packing it was shipped in? Oh well, these items have a lifetime warranty as far as I am aware of and in time we will have access to replacement parts.

Yeah, but that's like buying a Ferrari to test spark plugs...
I'm thinking real hard about getting rid of mine.

Good way to put it....

Speaking of ohm testers; I had a compartmented box FULL of atomizers all sorted by resistance and knocked the damn thing off the table. It is such times as this when a auto-tester comes in handy; I can't imagine how long it would take to probe each one. lol

This morning I knocked a 225 piece SAE and a 397 piece metric o-ring assortments off of my desk. Of course BOTH the tops were open. And OF COURSE, there was not 1 o-ring left in either box

I dont remember who mentioned it as its like 50 pages back now :) but, i bought the diamond files and my ody now has xc-116 in it and it vaping great. Unfortunately its on my provari not my gg but, broke down and bought the adapters and a shiny new gg stealth today that should be here saturday along with the adapters. The mod of the ceramic was not very difficult and took me about 20 minutes. Other than that got a 1.9 ohm coil vaping at 4.2 atm and its spewing clouds. Thanks for all the tips and tricks guys.

Recieved my ody on tuesday and like others it had an anti bacterial soap smell and taste on the draw.

Cleaned in hot water and scrubbed with ceramic cup removed from connector pin and dried.

Assembled with new wick/coil, filled and vapes like a monster.

Juice control is simple and easily controlled according to thickness consistency of fluid used.

Looking very forward to the big mode and the ggts base.

The ody is a grand slam to say the least :)
