SS is much more expensive to be machined and its much stronger ana.
Careful of this one, though. My Ody is genuine (bought from CoV in the first sale) and has only two notches on the small top cap, the 4 notches was a later change. I'm sure there's a distinct visible difference on that part, but if I hadn't already seen the real deal I'd be hard-pressed to spot a clone.
One way that might be effective is to post a pic here in the GG forum asking for opinions and the regular GG users will likely be able to tell the difference![]()
Well, I take it all back, I was wrong. Yes a woman is actually telling men that they were right and she was wrongI polished up the center post and it is all clean and shiny and obviously stainless steel.
Im sorry,
I guess the combo of heat and juice chemistry made the stainless steel sort of "rust" but its not rust as I dont think stainless steel rusts, only iron does that. Stainless steel , depending on quality will oxidize. I guess it was just dirty and oxidized.
Thank all of you for helping me see the error of my suspicion that is might not be solid stainless steel. But at least this might help any other that get oxidation.
I washed it first, then used Autosol with a small brush and rinsed and buffed with a cloth.
