Latest update, Imeo checked the bases and except for the dent, he was able to attach the housing with no problems. Again, dont know why I could not. He and Vasilis are sending one of them back with a different o-ring. Im really excited to see how it goes.

Thanks Imeo.

ana i think your rebuildable part had some problems in threading maybe

ana we discussed the problem with Imeo and your problem was that you probably had the wrong o-ring on the positive post. If you put a bigger o ring on the post it will not allow the ceramic housing to screw in all the way. As a result the positive pin will not stick out much from the base. The threading of the base was fine. Now with the correct o-ring you should be fine.

Thanks, Im sure it will help. I just dont understand why all the other bases work fine , all with the same o-rings. I actually just changed all of the 6 rebuildable unit with new , o-rings all the same sizes. Oh well. I will wait to see when I get the base back and see what size the o-ring on it is.

I used to have a smaller o-ring on them before, but I was getting a bit of leakage. Thats when I found out the size of the standard ones and ordered new ones.

It be nice if Imeo would do a preorder for some Expansion Packs, I did'nt get one the first time.

Funny I ve been trying to sell most of an expansion pack for months and it doesnt even get interest. Its a beautiful set and I figure I will keep it just to have.

anavidfan. Can be clearly seen if a kir fanis clear window is used. Air bubble gets trapped between the knurled ring and mouthpiece cup flanged lip. Some have said it does not happen with ss tank, or maybe it just can't be seen without the clear window. Happens on the penny using a v1 kir fanis tank too, fixed a bit on the v2 frosted. Flanged lip of the mouthpiece cup is too near the tank wall and not easily allowing air bubble to escape.
