Have I told you all lately how much I freaking love my ODY? :vapor:

:)

I agree completely. In the past I always thought my cartomizers were the weakest link. When I had iAtty I liked it but didn't have enough room to make my perfect coil.

Now my only issue is my batteries. Once the GGVV comes out I will be in vaping heaven.

you check the center pole to come at the same level with the 510 threads Zor:)
Imeo, that is what has had me a little confused. Without that 3x2mm under the nut, what is preventing someone from screwing down the rebuildable portion too far and shorting out the center pin to the dripping base?

Without some sort of insulated stop to prevent this, I can foresee a few issues with shorted batteries unless I am missing something.

I hear ya there V....lovin' mine too. I'll be looking forward to having a SS window to use instead of the plastic one... if it wasnt for a few of my fav daily vapes, I'd be using mine in long mode as they like to destroy plastic... aka atomic fireball is the biggest culprit...

Nothing finer than all SS minus plastic Shai.

the naylon insulator will prevent liquid come inside the Ody Poppa. So as I said to my previous post, you screw the rebuildable part until the center pole comes at the same level with the 510 threads.
The Ody center post only needs to make contact with the center pin of the UFS connector, it doesn't need to be snugged in tight.

A nylon washer in place of the usual o ring would prevent any problems with shorts.

PS, zoranth, I know you know this and are probably pointing out a possible problem.

You and me both Vlad! :D I'm still exploring all the different ways to use the kit. And I don't just mean the standard configs. Add a piece here, change a part there. This thing is amazing. Usually by this point on the release of a multi-function device as is the Odysseus, it's weaknesses that are being found.

Not so with the Ody! Just new and diferent ways to utilize all the goodies that make up the full set!

Yes Imeo I understand, thanks again for making the Odysseus. Any more on the newest ideas for another great vaping product? I'll keep watching for more info.

I was suggesting a small thin barrier to prevent any mishaps, even though it may not be necessary.

I used mine in small mode with the GG base for 3 days. The added volume made a big improvement in the small mode. And then in big mode with GG base these past 2 days. Maybe I'll use it in the UFS next.

In big mode there are a couple different ways to assemble it with the threaded pieces being similar, but the mouthpiece only works in the 3 piece arrangement.

Im enjoying my Ody while getting to know her.

Air Control is exclusive to the GGTS which was the first mod to provide such a function. If you wish to use the airflow control you will need to purchase either a full GGTS, or a Stealth and Control Tank (the Control Tank replaces the Stealth Cap) along with adapters or the GGTS base for the Odysseus.

If I use the ody in long mode is there also a airflow thingy? I noticed that the short mode has a very airy draw which is fine but I do like some resistance.

wow that is messed up lol. Thanks for the help but that would be the only reason I don't like the ody if I can't find a way to get a hint of a stiffer draw. As of right now it works like a charm just amazing but the draw is just very very very airy and I don't see myself spending another $300+ for a GGTS.

We will see in a couple of month when I tried all the different modes and functions of this bad boy but thanks for the help Zor.

Did you try putting an o ring around the connector? It worked good for me. Still no where near as good as adjustable, but you might like it better.

you mean the small o-ring that is below the ceramic cup?

I hope I can work this out because I don't want to spent that much money on a GGTS I could just not do it I think. Since we are at it how much would a GGTS cost me?

220 shipped new. Do you have a stealth? If so you could upgrade by buying the needed parts for around 150 when they are available.

where do I get a GGTS for $220 new if its on COV $232? When it comes to GG stuff I am so lost there are so many parts and options it just makes it very very newb unfriendly.

The GGTS is the best I can get? or are there other options too? and where the hack do people get a aluminum GGTS since I dont see it on the COV website.

Thanks Fright
