o-ring is ok when boiling because it can handle 120 celsious degrees Brand. Plastic can handle 180 celsious degrees. Boiled water is only at 100 celsious degrees. But if you want to wash it its ok too. I just told you to boil it because the hot water will go everywhere without you having to disassemble the rebuildable part.
The best method is to dissasemble the rebuildable part of course and use a toothbruch to clean it very good. But be careful with the ceramic when you will put it again in place. Screw the small nut inside ceramic slow. Also tight it well
Sorry for the continuous questions Imeo... But now I should boil it? Or just wash it with dish soap and water..? Boiling it sounds like it would really do the trick, just worrying about the O rings/ceramic part, they'll be okay? If not too much of a hassle, could you please let me know the steps that you would suggest? Thanks a billion!

One wire is catched under the center pole. The other wire is sitting inside the metal channel of the ceramic under the wick jeb:)
I cant get my ody to work. I have now built 4 coils and still the same thing. When I put it on my provari I get e1 error message. Cant get it to fire. Put it on ego and silver bullet with the same outcome. Watched Scott's videos and Phil's and am doing everything exactly the same. What am I doing wrong?

Side note... My ody has a metal channel on one side of the ceramic channel where in all the videos I have watched they don't.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I had the same problem. Turns out that my coil was not seated properly and when the juice control was fully closed it was touching my coil causing the short.

The best feeling is when my friends are satisfied with GG series. Thank you Dave:)
So this is my first time posting here but felt the need after receiving my Odysseus order today. I purchased one in short mode & 2 in drip mode through COV, and got my order today. Now I am a dripper so I also purchased additional adapters to turn the one in short mode to drip mode. I now have three that are in drip mode & this is my first experience with rebuildables. In one hour I had all three working perfectly on my first try, all at about 2 ohms. I have to say that I have never gotten better flavor out of my juices until using the Odysseus. I just wanted to give my thanks to Imeo for making such a wonderful product & they work so well that I noticed Bruce still had some drip modes in stock & I had to purchase another, I also have a Penelope on pre-order. At first I was a little nervous about purchasing so many without first trying the product but now I can say my fears are over and I am in vapey bliss.
I also want to thank all the wonderful people that post here, as if it was not for you guys I would probably not have made the purchase.
Again thanks to Imeo, and everyone here for helping me make such a wonderful purchase,
Dave

an update to the ceramic has come to my attention while building coils today. Unlike v2, v2.1 (heh) the rebuildable section is now poled, with a positive and a negative side. The wire that goes down the side of the atomizer with exposed ceramic is the positive end, and the other side is negative. this is important when building coils. I also had issues with the E1 error on my provari till i figured out that i was building my coils backwards half the time... Maybe I'm just slow and everyone else noticed this right away, but I figured I would say something.

Isn't it ? My wife actually got tired of me talking about it. Certain things I just find incredible to be found in classified section. Imeo's Odysseus is one of them. How can you sell something like this ? I've made my coil, literally, in less than five minutes.

I'm just glad to live in age that allows me to see advancements in the ecig industry. Something that I had no idea about 3 years ago.

I'll piggyback legion13 and also say thanks to Imeo, Bruce, and Justin. You guys are incredible.

Me so happy :D

i think the pre made wires are weak fragile twist your own much stronger to cope with the pulling needed to wrap it round the wick tight may be i pulled to hard and i noticed the coil wire can only run one way ie CERAMIC SLOT LIVE(small nut) AND METALLIC GROVE EARTH (larger ring over wick) but i picked up on this straight away and see a few posts here saying oddy wont fire i think this will be the problem WRONG WIRE TAIL TO LIVE ......

Older people understand a little better than the new ones. I am sure that people that sold Ody will ask for it again but only classfieds will help them and of course not of all them.

I am very glad that you like Ody and a big thank you :)
