HarborFreight.com buy 2 o-ring kits one is standard one is metric they are 7 or 8 dollars each and have every o-ring you will need they are 700pc kits I believe and the only o-ring they dont have is the super tiny ones that go around the center pin on the GGTS...

I hear ya Mr. K ..... my post wasn't really directed towards anyone in particular.... just the situation. But yes you are correct about the O-Rings at a local HW store..... sort of, in my case..... ehhhhhhh ........

My experience a few weeks back was to purchase 2 of every O-Ring I had for my Ody with the expansion kit being as I ordered a replacement set for my Ody but received replacement O-rings for my GGTS instead. No big deal... I'll just go get them @ Home Depot, Sears, or True Value ..... well HD only sells sealed package kits with a few O-Rings and you'll be lucky to get 2 of the rings you need in one pack.... True Value.... the 2 places by me what a joke.

I'll gladly 'splain Lucy....

1st TV place the store manager tells me he's got every O-ring known to man in his store..... I believe he should have said, "I have every O-Ring known to me.... in this store"...... yeah there were some O-rings in there, only not the ones I needed, plus I had to verify what the price was for each ring. They started at like 0.98 cents each for the smallest ring and progressively got more expensive as the diameter grew. I went to find the manager guy to see if the pricing was for a package or was the price only signifying per O-ring.... oh, and he assured me, like a proud, expecting dog catcher.... that those were the prices per O-ring. I told him that his rings were over priced and if he intended on actually selling any he might want to lower the prices by at least 3/4. I then proceeded to split and carry on to Sears HW...

Sears HW was actually almost alright.... they had a good amount of O-rings, if you knew where to look for them. One big tackle box full of O-rings..... with about 10 draws and each draw divided by 6. I did see a sizing chart that indicated standard and metric sizing. In theory this would've been a good get. I thought for sure I was leaving Sears with my Ody replacement rings, 2 sets even and perhaps another set for my GGTS..... wrong!

Apparently during break time, the staff uses the O-Rings and tackle box they come in to play ring toss..... so like each divider was an assortment rather than just one size. The sizing chart wasn't really any help either..... a metal painted template.
After about 20 minutes of sizing each O-ring I picked up to the sizing chart I just got annoyed and left without any rings. There was a high point to this part of my adventure though, the prices were more realistic in Sears HW as compared to TV. Rings were like 0.03 cents, 0.06 cents in Sears as compared to True Ripoff's, I mean Skewd Value's 0.98 cents and climbing higher.

At this point I was willing to try my hand at using some silicon caulking to take the place of these O-rings.... hypothetically speaking.... the thought was appealing....

I have all the sizes STD / Metric ID/OD Gauge / Diameter, Thickness etc.... I even made a chart in braille, just in case. My O-Ring chart is as easy to read as the mid section of an eye chart at DMV or a doctor's office, guess. I gave the sheet to one guy in a hardware store, figuring it would be easier, and told him "I'll just take 2 of everything on that sheet...... like Noah's Ark.... 2 of everything."

The guy, claiming to be a Hall of Fame Hardware veteran, prior to me giving him my sheet, looks at the sheet, looks at me, looks at the chart and asks me what all the numbers mean....... at that point I felt like Mr. Hand right after Jeff Spicoli had a pizza delivered in the middle of history class. I laughed, looked at him and asked, "which numbers are you referring to...?" He asked me what ID and OD meant. I told him that ID stood for Identification and OD stood for OverDose, grabbed my sheet and headed for the exit.

It appears in some places the only degree they require for employment applicants is if they can throw a rock 6 inches or kick a corn can without tripping on it......

Anyway.... that's where my prior post was coming from.... I just didn't want to do that again.

I just want my Rings man..... Ring Dings, Onion Rings.... whatever - I just want my Rings....... (Lord of the Rings) - Great Movie(s)

Peace-

Got to say, with all my Genesis attys and other rebuildables, Ody is always the reliable choice when all else fails. :)

Nice lil' collection :)

Looks like you're running all in 510 mode, even the dripper.

2 questions:

Where did ya find the extended clear tank and shorter mode with the DT clear tank (Obviously not GG OEM)?

Did you customize the inner mouthpiece to fit the chrome tip? - Looks cool.

On the one with the Ming theres a HH357 inside without any mouthpiece, its a little hazardous but doesn't leak, I use it with Boba normally so the thick fluid helps out with it not having a juice control. The one on GGTS is with GGTS base and two with old rebuildable insides, one with new insides. All clear tubes are from Kir Fanis.

Just got myself my first GG piece with the ody V2. Well...this thing just rocks! I like to vape 100% VG and this has been a carto killer, but the ody just handles that without any problem.
Thanks for simplifying my vaping life imeo
Only thing was that strange taste from the ceramic in the first few days. Put it in warm milk and gave it a nice wash and the problem is solved! Really happy vaper right now :)

Got an email from COV at around 10:45 last night stating that they had pre-made wires in stock. I checked this morning and they are all gone. Either they only got a small amount and sold out quickly or someone just cornered the market on pre-made wires.

Not that I need them. Even though I just got my Ody and Penelope in the past week or so, I think that I have mastered building coils. The only issue that I am having is when I try to check the ohms on my coils the multimeter is stupid. The pre-made wire that I received with my Ody was measuring at between 12 and 26 ohms. Doing something wrong I think.

I wish I'd seen that. I was over buying wick and a Ody GGTS base at that exact moment.

thank you very much aid. Its a reality that Ody can handle any volts, any liquid and any wick and it has the simplest way to connect wires without tools and without effort. I am very glad that I made your vaping life easier and better:)

Dangit. I didn't know they had wick too. I just picked up the Ody base and one of the flat top buttons.

It's crazy that the wick and pre-made wires went up for sale last night, and by the time that I woke up this morning, they were back at "Notify Me" again.

Most everything was sold out in a little less than an hour... Was a madhouse trying to get what we needed. Really wish it wasn't such a hassle trying to get the parts we need, but what can ya do? I got most everything I wanted but the new Ody V2 ceramics, if mine breaks, I'm SOL. Hope more are on the way.

I don't know how much wick they usually receive from Imeo, but with the demand being as high as it is, you'd think they'd have a steady flow of the stuff coming in.

Anyway, if anyone managed to get some V2 Ody ceramic cups and wants to part with a couple, let me know ;)

Edit: Well sounds like Imeo orders LARGE rolls of wick at a time, so I can only assume we'll be seeing it in stock more frequently on COV :)

I had ordered some silica rope from McMaster Carr but it is a pain in the .... trying to break it down into usable pieces. I am slightly disappointed that I missed the sale on the wick, but I went ahead and ordered 10 meters of the 3mm wick from ebay.
Silica Rope 3 mm - Silica Wick - high quality - temperature resistance > 1000°C | eBay

Don't know how long it will take to get here. Not sure if it is coming from the U.K. or Germany.
