exellent move from a GG member to another GG member kw!!
I am sure that things will go very well for you in hospital. Come back as soon as possible!:):)
I have 15 packages of the wick from COV. I did NOT mean to order that much, but due to the site freezing up it took me 1 hour to place the order. Anyway I have enough that I will sell it to you for what I paid plus the cost to ship to you.

I am going into the hospital in 4 hours for major back surgery. I will be there for at least 5 days if you pm me your address I will send you my PayPal and a total and I will pay and print a label and put it in my mailbox right now. Tomorrow the mailcarrier will pick it up and you will get it in a couple of days.
PM me right now and let me know your address. COV sold them for $2.25 or $2.75 each Plus I pay tax cuz I live in FL. Shipping will be less than $2.00. I will sell you 5 packages. Is that ok?

Guess I missed out on this deal, I didn't see this post until just now. Hope all goes well with the surgery.

Well, you are to blame.. You created an atomizer that gave me TH even without any nicotine, LOL

Seriously, it is mostly because of the ODY that I was able to give up nicotine a couple of months ago and now stop vaping all together. You know that I've been shameless in telling the whole world how much I loved my ODY over and over and over... And that was for a reason.

You see, the first day I received my ODY I realized that I no longer needed to vape 24mg to feel satisfied. In fact, it was suddenly too much. And within a short period of time I was able to cut my nic down by half. That was after nearly 2 yrs. of vaping 24mg with MANY different types of atomizers and not being able to successfully lower the dosage. There is something about it, it just hits harder than anything else I ever tried using the same juice, batteries, voltage, PV...

Another thing... For the first time, I didn't have to constantly think about details of vaping and pay attention to vaping every minute of the day. No fiddling, dripping, worrying about adding too much or not enough juice, punching holes in the carto, wondering if my carto tank is feeding it too much or not enough, flooding or dry hits, and on and on and on... I simply filled my ODY in the morning, opened the juice control to the right level and I didn't have to think about anything or worry about anything until about 5pm in the afternoon when it was simply time for a quick refill. Same consistent performance hit after hit all day long... And that's it, it made my life simple and vaping more enjoyable than I could previously imagine. I could spend my whole day taking care of life rather than thinking about details of every drag... Once I gradually worked my way down to 0% nic and didn't need to vape for physical reasons anymore, the next logical step for me was to just give it up all together and work on my mental addiction aspects of vaping (which is pretty tough right now, I must say).

So, I want to thank you for creating this amazing, simple to use product, and for always making me feel welcomed here! I appreciate what you do :thumb:

And btw, I'm not gone... I'm still lurking :) I may be done with vaping but I'll never be done with friendships I received in this place! :toast:

Thank you!

Nice post, I saw your thread in the Classifieds too. You should start a section for ex-vapers. A place for others who have stopped to hang out and also for people to come for help to try get to the same point. I've been at this for around a year, been thrilled how easy it made stopping smoking. I never really considered tapering off the nicotine to eventually stop vaping until I read your posts. I'm not ready to do it yet, but you've planted the seed. Right now I enjoy all the tinkering and stuff, it's pretty much a hobby. When I decide to take the next step it would be nice to know where to find those of you who have already taken it (and survived). Good luck with the non-vaping and have fun with your little Princess!

just took delivery of the ggts/oddy base and stealth end for ggts when i get it but it would seem the oddy/ggts base wond be of any use while in stealth mode ?? or am i missing the point ?? any one have any ideas on this pleeeease

GGTS Ody base is designed to be used as a native connection to the GGTS control tank Stumpy. The only way to use the Ody with a Stealth top is with it's standard base with the 510 connection. You need a GGTS control tank to use the GGTS Ody base

Pics coming shortly

if you want to have benefits or both worlds then use GGTS in Stealth mode stum. I mean that you can put only a 16340 or 18350 on it (without its extension, only keep the telescope)

My Ody just started this issue as well. Funny, I just made a new wick/coil. I'll look into the wick sides being too long. How far down the sides should they go anyway? I've been cutting them off right around the bottom o-ring. Worked fine for a week at that length. I was starting to scratch my head because it was flooding with the liquid control totally closed. Figured the bottom o-ring was to blame because I have the contact pin a little high to remove the airy hits on my ProVari. I'll check both.
Try cutting the wicks just slightly past the end of the ceramic housing. That way you can tuck it under when you screw the rebuildable back on the base so it doesn't get caught up in the threads

Just got the GGTS Odysseus base and what a difference! The performance is so much better. My kick is giving me trouble so now I have to make a lower ohm coil. Still experimenting with that. What's the lowest ohm you can go with a 3.7 volt battery and still be safe?

If you are using the Kick in TS, make sure to NOT have a Fuse Kit installed. It also helps to remove the original spring and use the post only. Also, make sure to polish the contact points of your Kick including the ground spring. Make sure your button is clean (inside and out). I got the best performance when my coil was around 2.0 ohm and using a thinner wire, 34 or 36 awg.

1.2 or 1.3 ohm works really well at 3.7V imo.
