If you read back, you will find they are working on ways to lower the price . Initial start ups are often expensive, but with the support of the vaping community, those can diminish. There's allot going into these tanks to make for a clean vape, drop resistant despite being of glass, plus easy fill witth encorporated top

Rick, I do not think it was all that bad. There are so many threads that are long - usually about the most sought after products. These long threads are filled with both content and jibber-jabber. I appreciate the frustrations from both those who just want to know without reading all and those who have seen the same questions come up time and again.

Yes, this is a pricey tank. But there are others even more pricey - maybe not glass. But what is now somewhat hidden in these pages is that these are not stamped out by some machine in a factory. There is actually very little mark up for both the makers of these tanks and the vender as well. These are each made one at a time by hand on a glass lathe. They are absolutely beautiful - finest in my collection by a significant margin. Can you find a tank that will put juice in your carto for less money - sure. The cheap chinese knock-offs will geterdone for under $20 delivered in the same way that McDonalds will fill your belly for a couple of bucks. But, if you want Prime Rib, Fillet, etc. it is NOT going to be a couple of bucks.

I only received the one-piece version as a proto just over a week ago and I can tell you that while I have more longevity testing to do on the o-rings (replacing cartos and the o-rings themselves), this is by far the nicest tank in my collection and I WILL get more of them.

I have 8 other glass tanks, poly tanks, etc. I probably own over 15 carto tanks of various designs, venders and manufacturers. All I can tell you is these are by far the nicest. There is some sticker shock when you compare to others but when you consider these are not cut tubes, but rather each hand made on a glass lathe - and the time and craftsmanship necessary to make each, plus all the cost up front to design and improve, time and product lost during the making, etc. I am not surprised by the price. If they can find a way to lower the price, I would think it is to their advantage to do so - obviously making them more affordable to more people would serve them well. But, in reality, when you have to buy supplies and pay the artist the time to lathe and finish each, the time for all other finishing steps, shipping and then a minimal mark-up for the company putting this together and the vender bring them to us - this price is really not bad at all. They are not within everyone's budget but the comment "$1 worth of glass" is like saying a fine painting is $1 worth of paint.

If you are a tank enthusiast, and want one of the nicest tanks made, these are worth considering.

Rick, its silly to look at the price alone, but thats where you're starting fine; thats about a carton and a half of smokes
a run-of-the-mill DCT tank is roughly 20.00, when it craps out you replace it thats 40.00

these aren't mass produced, shot out of a machine, there was design, creation, testing, fixing any issues, then making proto types... thats hundreds of hours, money spent on materials and lets remember its MADE IN AMERICA where everything made here costs more cause its better.
I'm unemployed so will be saving for a little before I can get one, meanwhile I'm vaping with a DCT carto with a condom on it cause my tank sploded a few weeks ago and I'm not gonna waste that 20.00 on another one

Good Evening All!

I'm loving the looks of my duo tank, but I do have a question or two for use.
-Top o-ring seems to slip up every time ending in half of the oring being in the seal, the other half bulging out of the top...
-bottom oring holds my carts like a vice grip. Slash only specific drip tips can be used to install a cart... and I broke my last tip this morning :/. I'm glad it doesn't slide around or leak or anything, but holy crap. I've had to change it twice (cart issue, not tank issue) and it's been about a 10 minute power struggle each time.
- flooding/ vacuum- when I put the cap on, it floods. seeing as though not everyone is having this issue, it sounds like its something I'm doing, but I have the air bubble over all of my holes, and am half filling the tank just so I can make sure I have plenty of air around the holes. As for the vacuum. I can take the top on and off if I have a full tank, but if the tank has been vaped on and its empty, it hurts my fingers to take the cap off, and usually requires me to wrap the tip in a towel and the tank in a silicon kitchen gripper.

Anyone else running into any of these things? Any advice on how I might be able to modify what I'm doing to make the tank easier to use?

Only other advice I have- since 3/4's of my drip tips won't let the cart slide up the bottom oring- including a specific drip tip, or recommending one would be awesome.

Hi Little. You might want to email JJ. he'd probably give you the best advice. I twisted my cap once it's on. that seams to level the o ring. the other thing i did was blow the excess juice out of the bottom of the carto before i put the cap back on after a refill. sounds like several folks are looking forward to him sending out some extra o rings huh?

Where? Please show me one.
Look up the entire line-up of GG tanks. For someone who has only been in ECF for a month, you are sure full of spit and vinegar and criticism and judgement and negativity. No-one said they were trying to recover their initial start-up investment in one round of tanks - and this was only the very first round - but this comment of yours fits your temper tantrum style. Several people, me included, have tried to help you put this into perspective but you continue to think you know better than so many experienced vapers and tank users.

You can vape 3.7 volts on a mini/stick-ecig or a $150+ GGTS. You can vape VV on a cheap Lava tube or a ProVari. You can vape VW on a kick in a roughstack (for cheap) or in a Darwin. There are cheaper versions and pricier versions of many vaping products. But, as you have only been around a month - I guess you know better than all of those of us with years of experience with many various tanks and other vaping combinations.

I have a well known reputation (by those who have been around ECF for longer than a month or two) as one who is always very accommodating and ready/willing to help others - especially new people. But, quite frankly, you are so unpleasant, full of inaccurate information, negativity and temper tantrums - I'd just assume not waste any more time with you (as all efforts to help you are obviously falling on deaf-ears/blind-eyes. So, if you are not interested in these beautiful tanks - just move along cuz you are not accomplishing anything here. No one is trying to sell you anything and you are certainly not going to convince anyone here of anything beyond your lack of information and experience. So, don't get mad - just go find something for which you CAN find some enthusiasm, positivity for and excitement.
