It is interesting how we justified the cost of smoking vs vaping.
With vaping, I look to justify the cost of a Vmax or Gripper as another luxury.
When I was smoking, I would not even stop to justify the cost of a carton. It was an eventually.

I do try justify all of my purchases, but yes you're right! Before I quit, I didn't think twice about spending almost $14 a pack! When I started vaping, instead of starting smoking again ,I balked at spending $100 to get set up! Now if I would have known about canvape then it would have been wwwwaaaaay less! Haha my second gear purchase, and every one since has been from my favorite place to shop! Canvape!! :D

I justify all of my vape gear, whether its a new tank, carto, juice, diy supplies or pv as a hobby. Something I enjoy doing! Funny how vaping has become kind of an obsession! :) I haven't saved any $ vaping vs smoking but I really don't care! At least this won't kill me!! I enjoy vaping! Plus I've met some great people!!

I am trying SOOOO hard not to get a vmax, and you guys are all making it so bloody hard not to. So what batts & charger will I need to go with it, and anything else I'll need?

I guess it's as good as sold

If you're looking for almost-vmax performance but don't want to spend as much go for a gripper! :) The gripper isn't as shiny, but few $ cheaper and kicks like a mule! :) gripper takes one 18650 batt. Vmax takes 2 x 18350 nipple top.

Speaking as someone who has just stuck with Ego's for so long. Keeping them high on the good enough list. I can't help but feel a draw to the sexy looking Gunmetal VMAX. Someone please slap me in the head before I buy one!!

Really I think you have come to the wrong place... we are more enablers for vaping toys than anything else really ;)

I have a revolution and just haven't taken to it, so I'm a bit leery of trying another of that type. Still trying to justifying spending more on shinny new toys.

compairing a revolution with a gripper is like compatring an 808 with a lava tube. 2 compleatly differnt animals

Yes the shape is where the similarity ends. I think the gripper is smaller too. Gripper isn't a bottom feeder. You can consider the gripper as the ever so slightly smaller sibling to the vmax :)

Oh but you dont have to use it as a bottom feeder, its also an awesome long-lasting battery with mini-usb port incorporated charger that has those shiney UFO lights you dont find on anything else;I like the shape, the feel, the button position...screw anything you got on it and use the space meant for the bottle to....carry a bottle of spare juice!Even has a compartment for a spare carto if its what you use :)

No VV though but heh.
