eVic seems a step in the right direction these device should be USB upgradable since they are pumping them out so fast without proper testing and they don't work out the real life bugs. Customers get stuck with buggy devices and no way of returning them for upgrades. The LCD display makes sense more info than just a few numbers and retro calculator like letters. As for menus if they can make a 30$ mp3 player with full menus and easy navigation I don't see why a 100-200$ device can't have it. No more Morse code just to change a little settings.

I see that the eVic has set the new standard for the next VV VW devices I can see a whole army of these new devices with more features that we would ever imagine.

Also congrats on the Canvape team on their new forum section !

I read up on the Janty yesterday... it claims to go up to 25w and I think it was 8v! I don't know what you are going to be using as an atomizer for that but there is a catch to it as well: you can't go that high unless you BUY their software. Until you buy the software at their online store you are limited in what you can do with it... you can still go from 3-6v and 4-15w for free but if you want the higher ranges of 0-8v and 0-25w it will cost $15.95 US... there is a breakdown at the following link:MiD One Device (it is another $50 to activate everything and you can pick and choose certain features for smaller amounts)

Also, it is $110 on the US site, but it is cheaper after conversion on the European site.... WAIT, I just checked for the price and I am sure it said the pre-order was E84.95 (euros) yesterday and now it says E109.95 (includes 21% VAT tax, which I believe is dropped if you ship to Canada). Weird, I am sure it was cheaper yesterday because I converted it minus the tax and it was way cheaper than the US site. Now it is more expensive in Europe (by about $5 after tax reduction and conversion).

Anything that costs more to activate new features is a scheme to me... likely not worth activating them anyways by the looks of the extra features. People will do it though.

The bugginess of new devices drives me nuts, I swear if someone used them for 5-10 minutes they could easily cut down the 2-5 revisions on everything.

I'm not so patiently waiting for canvape's price on the eVic.

Just the idea of paying for more functions turns me off the MiD. It seems like a scam to exploit vapers sometimes obsessive buying habits. :)
