A lot of us aren't around a plug during the work day unfortunately, so having a swappable battery is a necessity for higher wattage vaping anyway. Internal charging is great as well, just plug it in overnight.

I don't get to vape enough while working so an 18650 will usually get me through the day, even at 40 watts.

Well, yeah. I have several devices that can be charged by USB. And I have several devices where I can swap out an 18650. For my vaping gear, I far prefer swapping a battery.

Seriously though, with most people in the P3 thread saying they can get at least a day out of an 18490, or more from an 18650, charging the Radius overnight isn't really an issue. Those of us who would use 40W might have to plug it in twice a day to top it off. I have an SXmini that I use anywhere from 30W to 60W, and I have never taken the battery out (and it only charges at 500mA). I recently posted on the SX thread about a display bug that happens when the Joule counter flips 1,000,000. When you remove the battery, the counter zero's. So, a 40W Radius will likely last me all day, at 40W. Everyone else should be just fine at at a lower wattage, just charging overnight.

There IS still some mystery surrounding the TWO wheels on the bottom...
Mayhap:
- they're self-winding gears. Like those old mechanical watches, the Radius charges itself up just from being lifted up and put down and lifted up and put down
or
- one get's you at the battery, the other get's you at the atomic power pellet, which takes care of 99% of the device's energy needs, allowing the actual battery to have an approximate run-time of 27 years.
or
- 2 words: built-in wireless charging. Ok that's three words. Or 4 words, but two of them are connected with a hyphen, so it's kind of 3-4 words.

I like the "tickles the hamster" theory.

And then there's me at the opposite end of the spectrum. I'm a trucker, so having a charging outlet nearby isn't a problem. Remembering to grab a spare charged battery or two, on the other hand, is. In fact, it's sadly why my P3 just sits in my vape kit as a backup to my USB-capable iStick. All too often I'd forget to grab a spare battery and find myself in a place where my battery would die and there wouldn't be anywhere I could pull the truck over for 20 or 30 miles.

So for me, USB charging, and particularly USB passthrough so I can keep on vaping while the battery charges, is an absolute must-have.

I just thought the battery included would open up sales to those folks who are used to internal battery devices. Some folks don't have 27 batteries laying around and don't want to invest in chargers etc. They just want to plug it in and charge it, Provape answered their wishes. They seemed to have listened to a lot of wishes on this device.

I have a phone with usb charging but I don't put 10 amps through it when I turn it on.

I was taught to let my IMR batteries rest for a while after charging.

Yes, Vape360 confirmed that there is a built in charge circuit.

Exactly. But, two gears, two venting holes on both sides, perfect symmetry, a battery on one side needing 30-40 seconds to be replaced - and somehow more place than content (we know of). Funny. I think we will have fun on Tuesday?

so plenty will be miffed at this, but... How many of us have spent $$$$ on new phones, tablets, small electronics
only to have the mini usb port turn squishy/muck up?
IF the brilliant minds collaborating with ProVape have actually found a way to increase the quality of these
its going to be much more than a PV breakthrough! (Hell they'll be able to retire to their own island!).

My experience on this side of the pond is, if you have a sub ohm tank, you like to have power. 40 watts is nice with .5 on a Kanger Subtank, but try a .25 on an Atlantis and you'll be disappointed. That extra 20 watts is welcome. I am hoping Provape does at least 50 Watts, there are times I like that nice warm cloud of extremely tasty flavor, and 40 watts does not tend to provide that. I have these incredible Uwell Crown very handy top filling sub ohm tanks. Using .50 coils they hit the sweet spot at 45 watts. I like the versatility of having that extra power if it is available. Someone mentioned devices can't handle more than 40 watts on 1 18650, look at the D2, that device handles it nicely and it goes up to 75 watts....it can be done, and I hope Provape does it. [emoji16].

I think it's pretty obvious it's gonna be 40w. I too was hoping 50w. But all signs are pointing to 40

shrug...for me, I know the ports are "delicate" and treat them accordingly. I look to see if I am plugging it in the correct way.
Haven't munched up one on anything yet...while my husband kills them all the time.

I also make sure the plug inserts easily...swipe the side of your nose and polish the plug with your fingers, it will go in effortlessly.
