Getting pretty close to getting a Radius to go with my P3. I recently purchased the P3 with the new firmware upgrade, and one of the things that appeals about the Radius is the ability to install various updates myself, as sending to the Eastern states (Australia) is costly and time consuming.

Problem is I just read that it is only Windows compatible and I only have Macs, and I would imagine that there will be a few updates being released as would be expected with a new product?

My brain says wait a little but my desire for a new shiny things says otherwise ;)

I'm in the same dilemma. I may have to wait until they release ones with an update, as I only have Macs, don't have a ProVape dealer near me and don't know anyone who lives close who has a Windows box...

So I gave in and finally decided to contact Provape regarding the cuts on my top cap. Even after I explained that I wasn't sure it came from the factory in that condition, they said they would replace it anyway and I don't even have to pay the return postage. I'm stunned.

Provape: your friend for life

(now hurry up with that damn Ghost White!)

PS: Thanks Kim

I'm a little surprised the update software was not created for pc and mac ... I tend to avoid anything that is only pc compatible.

Its fairly easy to run a virtual Windows environment on your mac to do the updates....don't let that stop you ;)

I have done that in the past but found it a right royal pain in the ... slows down the computer having partitions etc.

But I guess it is what it is, my P3 is a flawless device and I love it, so I will ponder the Radius some more :)

I don't know if I can agree about the fairly easy part. Plus you have the added cost of a Windows OS purchase, and the added headache of at least monthly updates (some of which are extensive). Sure, you can download a trial version of Windows for testing, but having to go through the hassle of reinstalling every three months and reapplying the updates can be a regular PITA.

ProVape charges what it costs to make, whichever model it is, including profit.

They don't go around fiddling the numbers.

They charge what they have to charge.

Not a penny more. Not a penny less.

I know that if they charge more for the P3, then it costs them that much more to make.

Oh no I don't doubt that and even if they did inflate for profit I wouldn't mind I have used provaris since I've been able to afford one currently running a p3 and waiting on my radius to dispatch the provari mini that will be celebrating its 3 year birthday soon which I have put through the washing machine and is still working like a champ is the main reason why I don't have a issue with spending the money on a provari

I too feel like I've come to the end of my journey and I've found what I'm looking for.

Before, I used to check various forums and vendors for new and shiny things to buy almost daily.
no more... I have what I need.

today I took an istick with a nautilus mini with me cuz I wanted to go with another juice and didn't have the time time to clean and refill my kabuki with another juice. only a few days ago this was one of my go-to setups and I used it almost daily... now it's just "meh" and I wonder how I could put up with that for so long... o_O

so after having said that, this post brings it to the point:
It's a no-brainer in the truest sense.

Buy a ProVari and a Kabuki and spend your time more profitably than constantly messing with your vape.

Saying it again, can't say it enough.

Thank You ProVape.

Thank You Zen~.

this times 1000!

But then I'd have to taint my Macbook w/ Windows OS ... I thoughts we were elitists here.

Being a Linux user, I've pretty much become used to being left in the cold on such things.

Using Macs is being elitist too?? o_O
You live, you learn... :w00t:

Naw. Nothing elitist about macs. If you're an artist or musician you probably use a Mac. If you're not savvy enough to use a pc you use a Mac. Nothing about that is elite. lol

I'm certainly guilty of straying away from my ProVarii in favor of small box mods (all Chinese). I like the form factor. In the last month, I have lost 3 of them - 2 to batteries that no longer charge, and 1 just died for no clear reason.

I have my Radius, and it reminds me of the quality of ProVape products. I will be getting a second one eventually. :)

Glad you're enjoying it. I use my radius at home because it's a bit too big for out and about. Loving it though.
