The ultimate elitist

Problem is I just read that it is only Windows compatible and I only have Macs, and I would imagine that there will be a few updates being released as would be expected with a new product?
I'm in the same dilemma. I may have to wait until they release ones with an update, as I only have Macs, don't have a ProVape dealer near me and don't know anyone who lives close who has a Windows box...
I'm a little surprised the update software was not created for pc and mac ... I tend to avoid anything that is only pc compatible.
I'm seriously considering pulling the trigger on the Radius, as I have a ProVari 2.5 (my daily driver) and love the quality of the device. Considering that we're right around the start of the holiday season, does ProVape typically offer holiday discounts (Black Friday, Christmas) around this time of year? The price is a bit of a tough pill to swallow, but I'd love to get the device.
They've certainly offered some discounts on Black Friday, but there's no guarantee they will this year.

Some Le Magister goodness on my radius. Perfect vape.

If only it was a p3 connection. One can dream.WOW! That is nice.
Really guys? Let's put this into perspective. The P3 was the first ProVape mod you could update the firmware, but you had to either send it in to ProVape, or find a dealer that had the programmer - most did not. Some people on the P3 forum drove an hour or more to do this.
Now the Radius is released, and can be updated by any Windows box. I'm sure that if you don't have a Windows box at work, you have a friend who lives less than an hour away. But, if you have no friends, maybe your local ProVape dealer will do it for you, and you still have the option of sending it in to ProVape.
Some people are never satisfied... *sigh*
Yes, Vape360 confirmed that there were no plans for a generic Linux version of the software - except for a possible Mac version.Being a Linux user, I've pretty much become used to being left in the cold on such things.
I decided to get a Radius and talked to some Dutch dealers if they plan to carry it and if not, if they're willing to order one for me. The 800mah charge rate however is a deal breaker for me. So you're right, the Radius is not in my future.I could be wrong but me thinks a Radius is not in your future......![]()
Then being a PC/Windows user is elitist? I have both (and Linux) and prefer the command line...so I guess that makes me old school. At least I'm not having to flip switches or use punch cards....Naw. Nothing elitist about macs. If you're an artist or musician you probably use a Mac. If you're not savvy enough to use a pc you use a Mac. Nothing about that is elite. lol
I remember dropping a deck of cards. Wasn't good. All Mac, all the time. I figure ProVape will come out with a Mac interface, eventuallyThen being a PC/Windows user is elitist? So, yes... really.
If the procedure is simple enough, it may be that we are able to conduct it on a public library computer?!?Windows boxes are like fleas - they're everywhere. That was my point. To complain about not having access to a Windows box... Really?
