So I have a question for our dear friend @Vape360, if he can answer it.

How much longer is the Radius expected to be under "pre-order" status? I have a lovely midnight blue sitting in the cart begging for my CC#, but I'm hesitant to pull the trigger.

Why? As I may have mentioned before, I'm a trucker. This means I'm away from home, and subsequently my mailbox, for roughly 28 days at a time, and actually at home for 4. As you may have guessed, this can complicate things like timing shipments to match their arrival with my own. I'm due to get back out of this infernal vehicle again in about a week and a half, but with the "pre-order" status of the Radius and the associated uncertainty of a shipping date, there's just this hugenormous question mark hovering over when the appropriate time to pull the trigger actually is.

Okay, I guess I have two questions. Barring any kind of definitive date for the Radius to be listed as "in stock," how likely would it be to successfully request a specific ship date?

The lead time right now is about 2-3~ weeks due to the backlog of orders. It's hard to answer because it's all dependent on how soon we can get back orders shipped and get to where we have inventory allowing us to ship within a day or two. Hopefully in 2-3 weeks we can get caught up but that's hard to predict at this time. It's a little difficult for us to ship on a specific date but maybe a friend could accept the package for you?

Maybe go ahead and order one and have it shipped to a friend who you know can sign for it. That way it'll be waiting for you when you get off the road.

There, problem solved!

I finally made up my mind on the color and ordered the black onyx. Black goes with everything, right? :thumb:

@rbrylawski That cab red looks awesome! I'm a red wine drinker myself.

Yep, black goes with everyone and there's no surprise when you open the box for the first time and see the color in person. Don't have to search endlessly for new tank colored o-rings, new purses and shoes to match.

I don't have to find purses to match! Am I missing something?? LOL

Rod will hold it for you... lol

I'd be happy to. Just let me know if you'll be trucking through Tampa!

the charge rate is only about 30 seconds if you change the battery. sheesh.
That person already has an reason/excuse for not wanting to swap batteries.

It just doesn't make sense. If the charge rate isn't fast enough (even though it is a measly 20% slower than the widely recommended charge rate for 18650's), why someone wouldn't just charge externally and swap batteries is beyond me.
The Radius was built with a removable battery, and therefore it can be removed for any reason one might see fit. If the on-board charger was too slow for me, I'd make damn sure I had a supply of matching batteries charged and ready to swap.
But, some people would rather continue to nitpick at a single feature, rather than accept that the stated feature doesn't work for them, and move on.
And for the record, I am not harshing on anyone for their own style of use. Everyone uses their gear differently, and is entitled to their own habits/routines. My personal OCD battery charge/swap itinerary would bug most of you right out of your skulls!
That being said, there is no need for anyone to keep beating their head against a wall when it comes to something being set in stone, like the charge rate of a device.
Either work around it, or pass on the purchase.
In my opinion, the work-around for the charge rate of the Radius, is to have secondary charged batteries ready to go. The swap time is less than a minute, and not much different than the swapping of batteries that occurs with most other devices. It sounds like swapping batteries is the real problem for this person, and that's something only that person can fix.

Luckily, I don't have to worry about matching purses!

Good choice! I personally wasn't thrilled with the Red, the shade just wasn't what I was expecting. Always hard to tell how your eyes will read a color from pictures on your monitor.

The black is a classy looking unit, and yes, everything goes well with it. I think you'll be happy with it.

Lol, I only run the western states, so you'll have to hold somebody else's Radius hostage...I mean, babysit it.

My initial thought was to have it sent to a friend of mine who frequently doubles as a vape mail recepticle, but Provape's cart system requires the shipping and billing addresses to match, or it forces you to jump through a bunch of ridiculous hoops like contacting your credit card company to add the other shipping address to your card billing info (WTF UM NO). So, since we don't live together and she doesn't have a key to my mailbox, I guess that's out.

I guess I'll just have to wait and continue to Radius vicariously through others. *le sigh*:(

I always have my Provape-Vapemail sent to my home (billing address), but I know there are many here who have theirs shipped to their office to avoid the "Sorry You Weren't Home" USPS Sticker on their door.

I'd just open a ticket with Provape and explain your situation and I'm betting they'll be more than accommodating for your situation. Yes I am.

My thoughts exactly - the black onyx looks very classy. Now, the wait for a shipping confirmation begins!

I remember dropping a deck of cards. Wasn't good. All Mac, all the time. I figure ProVape will come out with a Mac interface, eventually :)
Yes - those were the days (that we try hard to forget). I don't miss punched cards.

I think you need to meet first!
I bought 2 mods a few months ago, and when they arrived, their personalities were different than I would have guessed from photos, and they ended up with names reflecting that. So the one I thought would be delicate is named "Notches" and is used daily, while the one I thought I'd pocket around is more spoiled, gets treated carefully, and got named Coco.

:D

She just needs a new name any suggestions ??
