Happy to be... Not Smoking!!!
Some things are sacred. I dunno. I had a SX Mini and wasn't impressed by the TC. Maybe because of how I like to enjoy my vape but it did nothing for me. Doesnt mean I wouldnt be happy for Provape but I would not be interested. But the upside is I could buy more Ti Provari!
Couldn't you just turn it off and not use it?

I always read ProVari are underpowered and overpriced. Radius won't cost what a PRC mod with the same power costs- probably 6x as much...
Explanation insufficient, since the comment was directed at me, in an obvious inflammatory manner.

I've always been in the camp of wanting a provari, but only when they make one that fits my vape style. The radius just might be the one, sorry that seems to bother you so much you feel the need to post snark at me. Then, you have always been in the camp of provape will never make a mod for vape styles outside of yours, so maybe this is shaking your world view a bit......

It's not the size of the package, it's what's in it. Garbage in, garbage out.

Joyetech has had a reputation in the past for using sub-par components in their devices, and having less than observant QC personnel, so it's not all that shocking that there would be issues with those mods. Take the same idea and put it in the hands of a capable and trustworthy company like Provape, OTOH, and you have the potential for a major market win.

Or just stupid looking stuff. When I brought home an eVic Supreme and original Delta tank, the one with the enema nozzle drip tip, my wife died laughing, and asked me, "Does that thing go in your mouth or up your... " Killed it for me. I bet I never vaped more than two tanks.

No.....didn't you know that provape is only allowed to make devices that fit one specific vape style? :/

I can answer for myself, thank you.
I would view it as I do the P3. I don't own a P3. Not because it isn't a fabulous device but because I don't need to invest my money in something I wouldn't fully appreciate or take advantage of its full range. That and I can buy 2 2.5s for less!

That was pretty... ummmm.... awkward looking... it's got NOTHING on the Big Richard tip, however.

Confirmed... you definitely need a hug.
No, though hugs aren't unwelcome, I would just like to see a provari thread just once have a little less vitriolic response to those of us who wish for a provari more suited to our vape styles ;)

Zen, I kinda like the Big Richard. In fact I put it on one my P3/Kabukis on Friday and took it to work. No one said a thing. But then they all know I'm crazy anyway.

Another problem with eVic is the 510 connector is pot metal. It's the only 510 I ever broke--and more than once. Hunka junk all the way around.

Provaris have kept me smoke-free for almost 3 years, after 35+ years of smoking. My goal is to remain smoke-free. I don't require massive, cloud-blowing, sub-ohm power. I just want reliability, convenience, safety, superb customer service and great flavor in my daily driver. Provape & Kabuki by Zen provide me with those things and are at the top of my list of trusted suppliers.

Honestly, I'm ecstatic that I don't have to have an engineering degree to guarantee my vaping gear's safety. I'm more than happy to pay ProVape for that service - and that service IS part of the device price, as is their recommendation for the most appropriate battery for their designed device. I read every post of this thread tonight and have concluded that (1) I will be anxiously awaiting the release (2) I will be guaranteed a great vape when it arrives and (3) My Kabuki will pair perfectly with the Radius. (4) A Provape product is not for everyone, but reading through so many troll and argumentative posts is tedious and time consuming - just move on and let the thread continue on a positive note.

I think perhaps the tootle puffers (of which I include myself) are just excited to perhaps finally see a quality box that is more suited to OUR vape styles... We've been watching the hi-watt race excluding us for the past year or so, and well... maybe we're a little tired of watching some folks attempt to convince ProVape into stepping away from US as well.

High watters tell us ALL THE TIME that we have not "graduated" or kept up with the times, and that unless a device has 50+ watts it's outdated before it even hits the market.

By that standard every car that came out after the Dodge Viper was already obsolete! Some people DO want higher performance, and it's great that there are cars for that, some of us want to drive to work in a safe car that doesn't have more power than we need, or more than we wish to pay for.

I see how frustrated this appears to make you, and I understand why... but please realize there are people on the other side that are equally as frustrated with the notion that unless it's high power, it's of no value. I think I speak for many of us when I say we respectfully disagree.

This has been a pretty civil thread, all things considered, especially considering these types of threads turn into flame wars all over the internet. No matter what, somebody in this thread isn't going to get what they truly desire, and in light of that, the maturity level has been astonishingly high.

I hope we learn more about the Radius later today, there are MANY unanswered questions. If things don't head toward your vape style, I feel bad that you'll be disappointed, but let the tootle puffers (and we number in the millions) have their day.

Ive never understood how some of the lower wattage users cannot just kick the wattage down. I run the sxm low, the DNA's low and most other newer boards will also run in lower parameters fine.
A 75w, 100w or 150w mod does not mean you have to run them wide open. Outside of trying it, just to say i did, I've never run my higher wattage mod's full bore.
Is it that some people want a mod company to make products for their style of vaping exclusively? wouldn't that deny the company income from other users via limiting their market? If so,Why would that be a good thing? I would think that people who love a company would want to see them appeal to broader audience.

This truly is the typical response from those that desire high power... "well you can just turn it down".

I can also just buy a Viper and drive it SLOW...

But... why PAY for a Viper if you will NEVER use the power? This is why Dodge sells a LOT more Darts than they EVER sold Vipers. People that require less, resent having to buy MORE, just because some people want more. There are literally hundreds of high power mods out there. People in this very thread have said "If THEY can do it, so can ProVari", but if THEY are doing it why do you need ProVari to do it too?

If the response is "Because we want ProVari reliability in a high power device", then why not just let ProVari make the highest power device that THEY are comfortable making, and decide THEN if it's enough for you? At every step, I believe in my heart, that ProVari has always made the highest power device they are comfortable making, without compromising safety or reliability.
