Happy to be... Not Smoking!!!
A quick update on the issue I had with a 'Red LED' constantly shining. I had a few message exchanges today with Provape Support. The problem is known by their techie's and they are working on a s/w fix for the next update. So if it should happen to your Radius just plug it into the charger. My light went out when I plugged it in ... I didn't even have to unplug it from the charger as @Vape360 suggested to reset the light. Been using it for a day and a half and the lights still out.

And ... I was still offered a replacement if it made me feel better and/or I didn't want to wait for the next s/w update. Can't beat that for support! We (as it's my wife's) said thanks but no thanks to the replacement ... we'll just watch for the next update (as well as shipping notice for the Blue one she ordered ).
Thanks for the update!!!

Jim

how does the Radius compare to the DNA30/40?

The Radius is build like a tank, same as all ProVari's before it.
The Radius screen will never scramble like the DNA40.
The Radius can have firmware updates, so if/when an issue is found, you don't have to go buy v2, v3, v4...
The Radius has an 800mA charger - 300mA more than the dna boards.
The Radius has a multi-colored LED in the fire button (best feature ever).
The Radius is very comfortable to hold, due to its rounded edges.
The board and the mod are made by the same company.
ProVape support is second to none.
ProVape reps are active on this forum.

Need any more reasons? I could keep this up all night. :)

I had to look through my old files to find this.

Despite the Blessed ProVari being the most marvelous device on the planet, it is strongly suggested you do not recommend it to other vapers unless they have expressed genuine interest. Otherwise, it is fodder for the rabid AntiProVarians and will only subject us to further abuse. Threads with titles similar to, "What's so great about a ProVari?" are not considered expressing genuine interest. There is no need to extol the virtues of our Holy One; her gifts are legend. If a person is destined to receive a ProVari, it will happen without our encouragement. One does not "get" a ProVari, one is called.

Prolly the best advice from the Provarinati Rule Book EVER. I'm glad to have read this officially, even if'n I instinctively knew.........

I would like to add just one more...

They made JohnD0406 a customer!!!

My first real (non-eGo) mod was a ProVari 2.5 (black with green LED). I also got a ProVape-1, and a P3. The Radius is my 4th ProVape product. :p

Hello,

We have a updated version of the Radius software we are working on with some new features that you asked for. I won't go into details just yet on all the new features until we are closer to release but if you would like to help us beta test this version please email: beta@provape.com

In the subject line please put "BETA" and your "forum name".

If you want to put a little description of why you would make a good beta tester in the body of the email, feel free to add that :)

Enrollment for the beta is only going to be until Friday 12/04/15 @ 12 noon PST. After this date and time we cannot accept anymore beta testers and we cannot guarantee that everyone who enrolls will be selected to beta test.

We will be selecting people from those email entries to be part of the beta program. The beta version won't be available until next week, so if you don't get a response right away, it's because the new version is not ready yet. :)

As for the release timeline for this new version to everyone else, it will depend on if any problems are found during the external beta testing.

Most of our shops here are on a fb forum. I asked there if any shops would be selling it and they all said no. One side they might if people asked enough. Well hell by the time that happens I will have already had it. Lol People here are into the cheap China stuff that they swap and trade daily. Ugh

Agreed 100% about the cheap stuff. I prefer to spend more money once and not worry about having to buy a new device in a few months. Besides, I prefer to support American manufacturers.

I found another:

If an unenlightened one insists that Our Precious is outdated and inferior, thou shall allow them to buy a junk mod – or even 5 junk mods - without comment, for they have clearly stated their intent. Some people must suffer to learn and thou shalt not stand in their way.

ETA:

Thou shall press the firing button firmly in the center and not become distracted, allowing one’s finger or thumb to slip down the side of the button. The Blessed One requires commitment and shall smite thee for inattention by cutting out mid-drag.

Yes, of course we will need an additional unit to compare v18 with v19b. :)

(That, or a firmware emulator) ;)

No guarantee of it's firmness.
