My KBox Mini, which I run at 25W max, and my P2.5. I go through more batteries on the Kbox but then the Radius will almost surely support (edit:25W) so I would expect to go though the same amount of Joules, and the same amount of batteries. If I used the Provari in 18650 config as my ADV I would absolutely go through multiple batteries, and that is at 12-14W.

Usb ports are almost never the problem......it's how they are mounted. If they are mounted in such a way that the board flexes when you plug into it (iow "spongey" plug), then eventually the solder points are going to give.
I highly doubt provape would be so thoughtless in their design.

Sent with one hand, the other is busy vaping
Well Said!!!

VaporSharks had issues with USB ports/connections, to name just one...

YiHi's SXmini has had a lot of reported issues with the USB port as well, on both S-class and M-class. I've owned both, and never had an issue, and always use the USB port to charge. One key is that I'm careful with my personal electronics. Another key is I use the cable that came with the mod. Not all cables fit the same way, and a little more stress on the connection from a slightly larger plug, or inserting it at an angle instead of straight in, could lead to what we call "cold solder joints" - basically broken contacts. They're usually easily fixed, if you know how to solder. It'll be interesting to see how accessible the USB port is on the Radius. That side panel looks like it's removable.

OK? Thanks!

You need some of these handy little things :thumb: little rubber plugs, offer some protection against water and dust. Cost next to nothing.

I'm real curios to see how far down they will allow the battery to discharge above 25 watts. Will it be 3.3,v or higher ?

The 25R has a 25A CDR rating, so assuming the 50% safety rule, it will reach 12.5A battery draw at 3.3V assuming a 97% efficiency rating (12.76A at 95%). It will reach 14A at 3.0V, so my guess is they'll cut off power when the battery reaches 3.0V under load, and the higher your wattage setting, the higher the voltage remaining in the battery when it's not under load - likely 3.1-3.4V is my guess.

3597 replies, 180 !!! pages written, unbelievable. Stuff for a va-psychological thesis.

And many people think 'vaping' is a fad that will go away soon except for a few die-hards. Does that *few* mean all of us?

shrug...for me, I know the ports are "delicate" and treat them accordingly. I look to see if I am plugging it in the correct way.
Haven't munched up one on anything yet...while my husband kills them all the time.

I also make sure the plug inserts easily...swipe the side of your nose and polish the plug with your fingers, it will go in effortlessly.
It's an old trick my grandfather taught me for electrical plugs :)

Oh boy oh boy! I'm a nose swiping plug polisher!

Chapter 17 in my upcoming book, Life Lessons Via Vaping by KD.

Yes Steve...

You will.

Post of the day, Turfness!!!!

And just by the way, WHEN DO YOU SLEEP??

Pockets Steve... Pockets!
@AstroTurf, are you acknowledging here that the days of the indestructible Provari are over, that this Radius needs more care and feeding, including to be kept completely dry at all times? Never had to worry about that with my P2.5's

I was out on one of my many 10 minute breaks at work this past Thursday, vaping away in the rain, not at all worried water would get to the nonexistent USB port on my 2.5...
