I made a thread a while back about glass jars.. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/diy-e-liquid/376547-good-glass-jars.html I wasn't that worried about "deeming regulation" at that point. Just wanted something better than plastic. Now I can't use our apartment freezer. My in laws baby sit, they don'tknow i vape, they are very old school and don't understand much, nosey, etc. So my long term nic storage is going to bein my closet.

Right now I have on hand I have about I'd say 500ml of my 12mg flavorless nic. I just ordered supplies to make say another 600ml. My goal is a few thousand before any laws pass. After these purchases I'll be buying 100ml solution to make it as needed. They can't ever outlaw pg and vg.

Anyways I am back to looking at some good quality good sealing glass bottles. In my original post someone posted
this pic.

I like the cobalt blue or the amber bottles and caps like those would work I'd bet. A site that sells 100ml 250ml 500ml.

The main important thing is keeping it air tight and usable for a few years.

If you want to keep it a couple years and absolutely cannot make room for a 500 ml glass bottle or smaller bottles in your main freezer -- I would look into a used mini freezer/fridge. I see them alot on craigslist in my area. I am sure you have the right idea that high quality lids and glass bottles are imperative but I am not sure they alone would not keep the nic fresh for a year or two.

That's what I was afraid of Shilo. Just don't know where to keep it where the in laws wouldn't find it. God I feel like I'm 12. I don't really care if it looses an mg or two or nic just if it's safe to vape.

Sorry for your predicament buddy and that you have to be this discreet. If there is a small place you could conceal it in the back of the freezer, at least some of it, I would try that. If you don't mind me asking did you discuss it with your wife? When I decided to stock up over here I talked it over with my husband and we decided on the mini fridge/freezer.

Maybe try sealing your bottles in zip lock bags, wrapping them in tin foil and then burying them in the bottom of the freezer? Would your in-laws actually unwrap frozen food?

I like Container & Packaging Supply for my bottles currently, absolutely great people, fast shipping and good prices. Like most bottle suppliers though, shipping is expensive. The following links are for the 500 ml/16 oz size but they have others, and the lid size is listed on each bottle page: 16 oz Amber Glass Boston Round : Glass Boston Rounds, 28-400 Black Phenolic Lid w/ Polycone Liner : Phenolic Lids

I'll talk to her thank you so much Shilo. I'm a bit confused about the freezing thing btw. Do you thaw it out when you need some then freeze it again? Would the constant thawing and refreezing hurt it?

Oh and I've seen threads where someone says...

"hey I got some juice I haven't tried in two years is it still good? "

And them someone else says...

" if it tastes good go for it"

Lol.

Thanks for the link I bookmarked it. I'll probably order there. Lol you don't know my mother in law she'll actually open it. Last Saturday I got some dropper bottles from the container store and she was being nosy asking why we went there because she saw the bag. It's nuts.

The main thing that goes off is flavored juice, with the opening and closing, flavorings with possible water content, water possibly added to thin it, etc. Nic kept cool in a dark spot and not constantly being opened will keep for at least 2 years before it starts to oxidize. I've had large bottles of it that I work out of for a year with no change in taste, color, etc. Needless to say, you could store it in whatever bottle size you know you'll use over the course of a year and then pull one out whenever you need it.

Gah! I'd say it's time for the wife to have a heart to heart with mom and dad. Personally, I love my mother but would show her the door myself if she started going through my stuff without at least asking.

Everybody seems to have their own methods with the freezing versus not freezing, fridge versus room temp and I don't think there are any absolutes here. The only widely accepted part seems to be for long term storage the freezer is optimal. In my case, I take mine from the freezer into the fridge and keep it there until I need the next bottle. I make sure I only have an amount that I will use within a certain period of time in the mini fridge.

This sounds like a great like plan honestly :)

LMAO if you ever do that I want to see the video

Then I wish I'd had a video camera 18 years ago. My husband's mother came to stay with us because I was having a very difficult pregnancy and was supposed to be off my feet as much as possible, which as we all know isn't possible with a 2 1/2 year old in the house. Rather than affording me some rest though, my MIL got on her high horse about something and had me tied up in knots within two days. The hubby came home from work, took one look at what was going on, and told MIL to pack her bags. He then installed her in a hotel room and called his father to come get her. I don't think I've ever been quite so proud of him. ;) :D

StormFinch I may do some of these for 100ml batches.

4 oz Amber Glass Boston Round : Glass Boston Rounds

Which one of the caps on the bottom has the best seal you think?

Any of the 3 24-400s on the top of this page should work fine for you; Phenolic Lids | Product Catalog I seriously can't see any difference between them besides the grips. Keep in mind however that these are NOT child resistant, and child resistant caps don't typically come with the cone seal. If you feel you need a child resistant cap, this one seals with an extra foil liner and works with those bottles; 24-400 White Child Resistant Cap with 2 Piece Printed Universal HIS Liner : Child-Resistant

You are so awesome. Really helped me and I will be ordering from that site. I just need to deal with the freezer issue but in due time. Thanks to you too Shilo you are a superstar heh.
