No, politicians never ban anything with such taxation potential. What s going to happen is the "not so brights", or "just on the scene", they are going to have to pay a pretty high, ahem, SIN tax (vaping is a down right SIN don`t you know! The pharisees say so! (SMH). And maybe use less then optimum equipment.
For the rest of us, those of us in the know and accommodated to the ins and outs, we`ll get along just fine, at maybe a little more of a inconvenience, but I doubt it. The world aint banning vaping as we know it, just the US, LOL.
These politicians, they are doing to vaping exactly what they did to other things. Once they made it legal and taxed the crap out of it, the result was the black market became even stronger. With zero taxation, it has grown exponentially. Silly politicians. They are the real "not too brights".
As an aside, I suspect, and hope, the new administration will pull back on the regs if they don`t wipe them out completely, and perhaps listen to some sanity before making any further judgement or regulations.
