you may have hit the nail on the head, some are annoyed by others happiness, kinda like deadheads in the past.

I have never tried a Vaporizer before I got my ProVari. I have nothing to compare it to. For a beginner like me though, this is the no hassle, sure-fire way of getting something simple, durable and relatively inexpensive. No problems, no regrets, just satisfaction. I won't say it's the best because I haven't tried anything else, but I will say this... I'm 100% happy and 100% off analogs. Isn't that all that matters?
Dutch 81, sounds like you need a Provape-1 so you can really compare the provari's VV to the best 3.7 volt mod.
Is that nothing more than a blank screen, or am I missing the point?

I had to edit my above post (You were too fast for me) There was some kind of block on that url, but I fixed it.
I think we need to get more non-ProVari owners in here to sound off with all the "facts" that make a ProVari inferior to everything else. And why ProVari's automatically turn their owners into elitist hateful snobs.
It's weird, but if you search for "JBoxed" on youtube, the video comes up but it has a different url.
