Its only natural that when people come under attack that they defend themselves. When they come under attack all the time by the same people then it shouldn't be any wonder that defense gets a little vigorous in response.

Not pointing any fingers here but there are certain people that go out of their way to comment on any thread that even mentions a Provari.I find it almost comical to see them backpedal and call for understanding and acceptance as soon as a mod enters a thread.

The other thing that I find comical is that both the vigorous defense AND the extreme opposition to the Provari only serves to help its sales by keeping it at the forefront of the forums on a constant basis.

If you stop to consider that revelation, it kinda makes you question the intelligence of the people complaining about it since theyre helping to promote it without even realizing it. :)

IMO they would be FAR better off extolling the virtues of their favorite devices instead of trying to run down someone else's.

I agree kiwi. I just got the feeling from a few responses in threads to myself and from what I have read over time on ECF that the ProVari owners seemed to take much more of a beating than owners of other mods. It just doesn't seem to be anywhere near as prevalent with other mods.

I am all for someone quitting cigs and whatever they use is great for them. I just honestly feel like I am awaiting a beating if I even mention that a ProVari might be right for someone. I am not a fanboy and do take into account budget, features desired, etc. of someone asking which e-cig to purchase. I guess I just hate the fact that when ProVari comes up it is sometimes jumped on from both sides.

If I feel like a ProVari is right to recommend to someone then I will do so. If I don't, then I won't. I just do not want to be lumped in with the unthinking people who shout ProVari at every chance.

I was honestly trying to get a feel for peoples' opinions and I have gotten much more than that from this thread. Unfortunately this thread has shown me that when you mention ProVari the wolves on both sides come out and it gets taken to a place never intended.

I agree with you mostly here Xanderxman. I don't think Provari owners take more of a beating, but that there's a feeling that a few people shout about it at every chance, as you put it. Reading your response I can understand how that could be difficult for some-one like yourself that actually enjoys the pv and isn't part of the fracas. The whole thing has gotten old really. I know I've been enjoying some of the other more technical discussions for a while now. And I'm going to try a liquid feed mod soon just to see what that is like. There are so many things that are positive and interesting. I think if you enjoy your Provari then that's the main thing. I've seen your posts on the forum sometimes and you've never struck me as unthinking.

(Response to OP only, I'm not reading 266 posts on this topic)

The Provari is the Christian of the APVs. Everyone who isn't one loves to hate and ridicule on them. Why? Jealousy and arrogance.

If they are better than x, y, or x, only immature jealousy will cause you to bag on them. and if they aren't as good as they are hyped to be, why bag on what works for someone else and truly brings them joy? Arrogance and a mean spirit.

I don't own a Provari and probably never will. I won't bag on someone for the PV they choose to use quite as fast as I will for the attitude they choose to swing.

Wow, I scanned the thread and its nearly all the same people from all the previous threads. I can see how these threads really help to spread the word.

Put this in google search and you'll see "about 122,000" hits for the word provari
provari site:http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum

Put this in a google search and read the "About 28,000" hits it comes back with.
"get a provari" site:http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum

Put this in a google search and read the "About 11,000" hits it comes back with
provari hate site:http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum

Out of the hits for provari those that also include "get a provari" is 23% and those with "hate" included is about 9%.
One that I don't include above is that hits that include the word love associated with provari is 44%.

What does this tell us? Nothing, just like this thread. :D

I partially agree with you that the Provari isn't a status symbol. In the same way that I'd say a Zmax isn't either, for example. And I partially disagree because any pv that a person feels good about may be a status symbol to them.
My Chucks are the best vaping devices ever created.
And if people can't see that just by looking at them, that isn't my problem.

I am my own status symbol. :)

BTW, anyone out there that has "junk" they broke or don't like they can throw it my way instead of the trash. Makers gotta make.

The Chuck Mod is definitely one of the highest quality US made mods on the market today.
I just wish you'd lower your price a tiny bit. I think that they are just a bit too expensive for me.
I always go to the Chuck site and think for hours about what I want for it and I can't pull the trigger.
I want one BADLY though. I was actually going to include your mods in the list @ that thread:
What is the BEST set up? Where everyone was listing all the best PVs out there?
I'll have to go back to that thread and include the Chuck now. I love the Chuck mod. <3

We should have a stickied "I just want to argue about something" thread.I guarantee you we would see the number of anti Provari threads drop by at least half.

Frankly Ive been hearing the same arguments against Provari from the same people week in and week out for far too long. They use the same arguments almost every single time and it ends the same way almost every single time.

To be honest those defending the Provari use the same arguemnts as well but IMO are more justified as theyre not going into threads to specifically pick fights and start arguments like a few I could mention here.

I only know of 4 "honking beast" batteries/mods/etc: Provari, ZMax, Vamo, eVic
As far as I know, the Provari is the only one that doesn't offer variable wattage, and while the ZMax/Vamo intrigue me, the eVic kinda wins due to the large amount of "Oooh, shiny fancy toy!"-ness

I'm wondering if the Innokin SVD is going to be one of those too. So far reviews are saying its very well made.
