I'll jump back in the discussion since I'm finished with my popcorn

now.
I think that there is a lot of resentment towards Provape the company by the people who do not own a Provari. Either they say that the company is falling behind the times by not offering VW, or they complain about the initial purchase price being too high. Or they complain about Provape charging additional for colored bodies, for a blue or green LED display. Or they say they that they would buy a Provari if Provape changed from a one button control to a three button control.
I'm not speaking on the behalf of Provape, but hear me out. When you purchase a Provari, you not only are buying the unit itself, you are also investing in the product and the company's customer service. Besides the one year warranty, they offer an option to purchase an additional year on top of that should you want the additional security. Even after either of the warranty's expire, Provape continues to provide repair service at owner cost at already published prices. This is why the Provari is a good choice for those people who are looking into a device built for the long haul. If any device or company could be best described as the best product and company for the long haul, it is this one.
About Provape nickle and diming. Provape offers the Provari at at generic, bare-bones price of $165. If you just need a Provari but don't need a custom-colored tube, a custom-colored LED screen, or an extension cap you can purchase this less expensive model. However, you'll pay more for the colored tube of choice, colored LED of choice, or an extension cap. Provape also offers imperfect, or blemished, new Provari's at reduced cost in the clearance section of the Provape sight, so one can get a Provari for even cheaper.
Provape out-sources the colored Provari's to an outside company to be painted, a service that Provape has to pay for. The green and blue LED screens are not made in-house, but purchased elsewhere, and they also cost Provape more to buy than the default red LED. The battery end cap extension costs Provape more to manufacture. So, these additional costs are passed on to ONLY those customers who want them, and not to EVERY Provari customer.
Concerning the lack of VW feature, current Provari owners are getting along pretty well without it. Having it available is not a deal breaker for most customers as it sounds like Provape is selling as many Provari's as fast as they can take them off of the assembly line. I see more and more owners of new APV's with VW who say that they don't even use VW once they've tried it.
Concerning the 1 vs 3 button function. It took me all of ten minutes of playing around with the 1 button function to master it. I work it now without even counting the number of pushes. You learn to adapt, or you don't.
That's my
