As you know I was expecting vapemail today..It arrived..my juice order from Mt Baker..I ordered 24mg Menthol and Extreme Ice..intending to cut it in half with pg/vg to get 12mg..They had an option for an extra flavor shot..1-5 shots..Im from the school of thought..if a lil is good..ALOT is better:D..I wanted to sample it before cutting to get the full flavor..HOLY FROSTBITE!! while i was drinking a couple cups of coffee(to thaw out my tongue and throat)..I mixed the juices up..It turned out perfect!! a strong good tasting menthol..the best Ive vaped to date!!

Moral of the story..Ive found a new fav juice..that will cut my monthly juice expenses by 50%..
A huge shout out to Txtumbleweed!! It was his post that got me to order from this vendor..and The savings of ordering higher mg juice and cutting it..Its what makes this thread soo great..sharing ideas..You never know when something you post will REALLY help someone:)

Mul did you mix the menthol and the extreme ice together and then cut it? Or keep them as separate flavors? You got 5 extra flavor shots? In 50mL? Sorry for appearing nosy LOL but when tx posted about doing this it this way, it definitely got my interest. And I'm a menthol / mint fiend :D

The advice I've gotten here has been SO invaluable. Without you all, I have no doubt I would still be searching for the vaping happy place. Now I've got the vaping satisfaction I was looking for AND saving money - YAY. I plan to try DIY in September and Fran has been a huge help to me - she's answered so many questions so I can put a first order together and feel like I can succeed at DIY. Still...I'm very curious about this method too :)

<neck snap> Oh my, that sounds interesting! Can you discern both flavs? And which one is the dominant?

    Off to da lab...

    marty_feldman_lab.jpg

Yes, I can taste both flavors, but they're balanced perfectly IMHO. Taste is so strange to explain to people. I prefer the lighter flavors which surprised me. Thought I would have preferred the tobacco flavors, but I don't like them at all now. Mike prefers the tobacco ones, but likes a lighter fruity one in between and he likes the pear/blueberry. Funny, because he doesn't eat either!! I need to switch off on flavors so I can taste them. Maybe my tastebuds are shot after all these years.

I mixed the Menthol and the Extreme Ice separately...Yes 5 flavor shots..I like it strong..and when cut in half its just the right strength for my tastes..I like the Extreme Ice better than the menthol..The Ice has a touch of wintergreen..which makes it tasty:)

I can be all over the map with how many different PV's I will use in a day. Some days as few as 3, and somedays as many as a dozen. It just depends on what is going on or where I go.
If I'm outside mowing the lawn or pulling weeds it's safe to say that a SD keyring will be hanging around my neck. If I'm out and about or driving I will normally have an all mechanical Mako with a stardust in my hand. Sitting at my desk I will have the Provari with a ViVi Nova tank on it, and a SS Vtube with a Mini Nova on it. When I kick back in the evening I will be dripping with a Kicked SB, or using a Jazz Carto pipe.

And I finally figured out that work was a bad habbit, so no work PV's for me .... thanks just the same.

Would like to take a poll & have everybody tell how many PVs you use on a daily basis. Please include the models that you use.

Since I've starting vaping I've always had at least 4 PVs in use (started with 2 808 kits). I'm now down to 3 (mini LT & 2 Twists) and I'm going to see how it goes.

Since some of you vets probably have dozens of PVs, this should be interesting. :)

I have 9 eGo 650 batteries and 1 twist. During the day I've got 4 of them going with either the Vision Stardust or the Kanger T0 bottom coil or the Phoenix 1.5ml. Yesterday I got 2 mini ViVi's in the mail and will be trying them out today. I usually have 4 different juices going because I like to switch around.
Almost forgot - I drip with an i06 at home in the evenings. It's easier not to do that when I'm out and about, but have been known to go that route once in awhile.

The size is tempting. I might try one out on him. I have plenty of chargers but would have to get batteries.

I never really cared for box mods myself but I must admit the Gripper has become my favorite. The only negative is it is made of plastic and I don't know how it will hold up to it being dropped but for convenience, performance and features it is hard to beat. Having an 18650 vv mod with all the features that is light and fits in my shirt pocket means a lot to me.

Tx for the win again!!!! :)

That blueberry/pear sounds yummy! And I find it interesting that you drip in the evening.

@all of you who are recommending the Gripper
You're making it difficult for me to NOT want one. LOL

Kudos to Fran!!! Expect a PM from when I'm looking for help with DIY. LOL

I only use ego's but have various sizes for various needs the 350 battery I just got is great for stealth vaping at work, I only get a few hits at a time so it lasts the 12 hour shifts I work, I was using the 650 batteries for this. I keep a 900 twist loaded all the time with my menthol/mint mixture (ice ice, candy cane, pepermint, and my new fave ice ice with blueberry) I also keep something loaded with my peppermint joe, and diy bluehoney. I use the kanger T2's or the ce4's I love vapedudes bluehoney and peppermint joe but again the price kills me I have been able to diy the flavors, the blueberry ice is also a diy flavor as well as my version of the ice ice peppermint and candy cane. To change it up every now and then I will throw in some cinnamon roll and sugar cookie mix, those flavors I will diy when I run out of what I have, Mt baker vapor offers both of these flavors either pre mixed or flavor concentrate. I have tried lots of different cartomizers and batteries and always come back to the ego and stardust for me it is a combination that works, I am in my happy place and everyone knows I need my happy place:2cool:

Well, it's not just in the evening. Maybe I should have said I drip when I'm home. I have dripped when I'm out, but it's kind of tricky to drip while driving!!! It's just a convenience thing to do it while I'm home and can carry the bottle around in my pocket. I think the flavor is really good when dripping.

Use to drip all the time Janet and you're right, it's really tricky while driving!!

Since finding the CE2s, I rarely do it . I've got attys to do it, but don't use them much anymore because it's just as easy with the CE2s.
I just started using the Vivi Nova but it should be easy to drip and try flavors as the CE2s!

Which leave me with attys and cartos that go unused.

I'm much like you in that I don't care for 'bakky flavs at all. I rotate seven flavs daily, with Peach and Pear as my two main vapes. My Blueberry and GAP (Green Apple Pie) are my 'dessert break' flavs.

The BB/Pear really sounds nice! Since I already have both individual flavs, it shouldn't be too difficult to combine... (Hold my beer and watch this!)

About to pull the trigger on the VV Gripper. If I do and I like it, I'll probably sell a BP.

Well, I have more than I need for sure. I guess you could call me a moderate collector of wood mods.

For wood mods, I have a VV Hogmod, a kicked 18650 Wildman mod, a VV Power Grip, a VV Bogger Boxmod, 2 Redsky Destroyer II's, 2 Wildman wood boxes that were modded by Krimson Kustoms for 18650 batts(VV of course).I also have a plastic VV 18650 boxmod from KrimsonKustoms, and 2 of his evercool VV 14500's, which my son uses. I guess I have to redo my siggie.

I have over 30 flavors that I regularly rotate from mod to mod. As you can see, they are all loaded and ready to be vaped.
