Hi ! :)

I bought a few days ago, Vivi tank. I use in LavaTube is very good, try it everybody. perfect TH and taste

You really think the taste is perfect. A lot of people, me included, really like the Vivi (Nova Vivi) but think the flavor is muted.

Everyone here probably smoked for many years, I smoked for over 30. Smoking is an addiction, anyone who has ever tried to quit knows this, you know it is bad for you but you do it any way. Back in the day alcoholics were weaned off alcohol slowly with alcohol, today people are weaned off with other drugs like librium, or a vast amount of other drugs that they then have to be weaned off of, it is not a matter of will power it is a physical addiction and a mental obsession, when the mental obsession kicks in there is little one can do but to satisify that. the mental obsession is much harder to over come than the physical craving, after you have been free of your drug of choice in this case cigarettes, for a week or so the physical cravings are no longer present, but the mental obsession is. That is why so many smoking cessasion programs do not work they do not satisify that mental obsession, ecigs or pv's work well for this because they not only mimic the act of smoking but they deliver nicotine into the body. That being said I am still addicted to nicotine but perfectly ok with that, nicotine in and of it's self is classified as the same type of drug as caffeine. I am no expert but I have alot of knowledge, education, and experience with chemical dependency, I am a chemical dependency counselor at a treatment center, and know first had that beating yourself up for smoking will not make you quit smoking. Give yourself a break!!!

Okay I got a sister who wants to get back into vaping. She has an eGo that is one and a half to two years old. Let's put it this way, cartomizers were just becoming popular. She doesn't want to buy new.

What I'd like is some recommendations of what tank/cartomizer she should use. The simpler the better because it took me hours just to get down how to load a cart!

Some added info. vaping makes her cough but she wants the throat hit. I think she is up to try any flavor but smokes generic analogs.

And thanks :)

Spot on Janet! I think the pressure to completely quit smoking and the sense of failure I felt when I didn't was one reason I quit vaping the first time. I currently still smoke, but every day I find myself leaning a little more towards vaping.....it is simply more satisfying. I don't beat myself up when I do smoke.....but I do a little happy dance when I CHOOSE vaping over smoking. I hope to one day completely quit smoking, but every one I don't smoke is a victory over this crushing addiction.

Thanks also for the info on the Ravens. I haven't gotten mine yet but it should be at the PO now!

Edited to add a big THANK YOU to both you and Mike. You have really been helpful to me!
:)

Hang in there Frankie, it will happen! I never thought I'd be able to give up the darn things entirely. No matter how much I enjoyed vaping, I still felt my cigarettes were my best friend (and worst enemy). I vaped and smoked for 10 months feeling like a loser every time I read another story about someone else who picked up a PV for the first time and that was it for them! Well, not me. Finally, I just said the hell with it, every cigarette I don't smoke is an accomplishment, and just went with that. I was one of those that had a cigarette in my face and lit before my feet touched the ground. No explanation or plan, one morning I woke up, cleared my desk and table of ashtrays and cigarettes, (into the freezer they went,) poured a cup of coffee and vaped my fool head off while coming to ECF for support. Those morning cigarettes were the hardest, once I got past that, I felt empowered. It was almost like self hypnosis or something, my higher power took over, whatever, it was my time and so much less stress than times past. All the support from the good souls here was definitely key as were care packages of goodies to keep me occupied and focused. I don't think I could have ever done it by myself. It's only been a little over a month now, and I'm not saying it's a breeze or that I never have a craving, but I find WTA's help a LOT with that. Where there's a will there's a way, just hang in there and do the best you can for yourself. Only you can say what that is. The best of luck in whatever you do!

Someone once told me..Vaping is a journey..(Not a race)..Success is counted by the cigs you DIDNT have..not by how many you did have..Everyone is different..Don't beat your self up for the 1s you have..Rather keep doing that cute Happy Dance for those you Didn't have..Only you will know when The time is right, to completely quit cigs..And we are all here for you..Every step of your journey:)

I would think the Vision 2 or T2 would be the simplest setup for an ego type pv. Both are very easy to fill and clean when needed.

I'd add the mini vivi nova to those choices. Can't get much easier than those three.
Sorry I can't help with the TH as that's something that hasn't been real important to me. :)

I really like the Vivi Nova as well and is my favorite tank. I've been using them for a couple of months any I haven't had any problems at all. They are extremely easy to clean and simple to change atty heads.:toast:
I just noticed you said Vivi Tank so you may not be talking about the vivi nova. There is another tank called the Vivi Tank that iis made by a different manufacture that is completely different. I haven't used those. I don't know why they would use the same name for a different type tank.

The mini Nova doesn't have ego threads though so it doesn't look as good on an ego as the other two.:)

Yep the chrome sleeves would make it look much better but then you have 12.00 for one carto when you can get a Vision 2 that uses the same coil made by the same company for 6.00 or a Kanger T2 for 4.00 that holds the same amount of juice. I guess it just depends on how much you want to spend for one carto.

I think I as well would have to throw in votes for the companion products: Vision Vivi Nova and Vision Vivi Nova Mini. They taste fine to us, have been entirely problem-free and are easy to use and maintain. Including the eGo line, either model will bolt onto and work just fine with anything that accepts standard 510 connections (most of the stuff out there). As yiddle mentioned, there are sleeves galore for them. I have a number of them in various, pleasing shapes and colors which work well on both eGos and most other devices. Such details are important to the Baroness.

Wanna thank all those that have been contributing to the Raven issue. Just got two and dry burned one of 'em. Have yet to fill it due to trying to catch up here. I'll do a follow up a lil' later.

BTW, the dry burn did give evidence of residual manufacturing fluid. Burn 'em 'fore ya vape 'em!

Totally wrapped up in tracking Isaac!!! Headed down to da Keys 5:30 AM yesterday (320 miles & 6.5 hours each way) to 'button up' our travel trailer on Big Pine Key. Got back 1:00 this AM. Got a bit of a nap and just checking in on ya'll. Will be a while before I get up to speed wid ya.

Catch ya'll later... off to WeatherUnderground...

Welcome back Iffy - if you haven't caught up on all the Raven fuss - GV is refunding everyone's credit card for any Raven's and spare carto's. If you get it to work, you'll be one of the rare birds indeed.
