Thanks bunches Mike. I will probably go ahead with a Health Cabin order fairly quickly, but may also be interested in the co-op for a few more things. When going into a co-op, is there a minimum order required? Would I have to get "verified" first? Sorry, I've never participated in a co-op yet.

HC has the tips for my Kanger T2's for only .39 cents. I haven't been able to find a better deal any where. In a month, 2 tips have already broken. Now I only have 4, that have also been in use most of this month, so I feel the need to get some relatively soon, so I might include 1 of those tubes. I have ss Boge carto's and somewhere along the way I also got a carto punch on sale that I've never used yet.

Oh - forgot this. I like these filler plugs for tanks. It's like a solid tapered drip tip you put into the carto, then slide the carto down and add juice.

    New Extra Long Tank Filler

I just got this cute little "filly funnel"....works great. Put it in, fill the funnel, tip a bit, and the juice runs out of the side hole into the tank.

I have been rotating a couple of AW IMR 18350 batteries in my mini for a while....seems like the batteries aren't holding a charge nearly as long.....is that just normal wear and tear? I use one or more every day. Thinking it is time for new batteries.

Any advice on place that has good pricing on AW IMR batteries???? Or something else that is equivalent?? This is for a Provari, so I think the trustfire batteries don't work. I had a couple "no name" batteries that came with a PV....showed full charge, but Provari wouldn't work. I'm thinking I'll stick with the AWs unless someone has had a good experience with something else.

Is there a link anyone could share on how co-op's work and what requirements I would need to meet? So I don't drive everyone crazy with 50 million questions?

I might be able to wait for the Health Cabin co-op since it's in early September. Where could I look at that co-op?

Co-ops are in the Classifieds and Pay It Forward (PIF).

I normally stick with AW 18350's but i've heard good things about the efest and have some coming in a co-op. They are much cheaper than the AW's for sure.

I dug around a lil more...it seems I have to be verified before I can even look at co-op at all - does that seem right?

    Yikes, I need more help...

I've never used a Dual Coil Carto before. For use with Ego Upgrade batteries that switch from 3.2 up to 4.2 (what I usually do after charging is start off at 3.2, then as the battery begins to drain, I switch up to the unregulated mode, so I doubt I'm ever really at 4.2) Also have 2 Twists, but I never fire them up to highest voltage.

Trying to figure out which of these would be best to use on the batteries I have, and not sure because my understanding of DCT's is that they have 2 coils in parallel. Like on 1.5, 2 - 3 ohm coils but totalling 1.5 ohm resistance. I could be WAY misunderstanding, but even if not, I have no clue which one of these I would want to choose. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Or maybe I shouldn't even try these at all? I'm only looking at them because of wanting to try a tank, and Health Cabin has them already hole-punched and they even have a flange...for the 4.5 mL tubes I found earlier.

Yep you have to be verified. This was done to protect buyer and seller since there was problems.

Went and looked to see what the grommets and O-rings are made from. Is this good quality?

This is a set of replacement grommets and o-rings for my standard tanks. They should also fit any tanks manufactured with a tube of 5/8" ID.
The grommet is made of food grade silicone.
You may choose the color of your O-Ring.
The Black O-Ring is made of Food Grade EPDM
The Red O-Ring is made of Food Grade Silicone

Yep - those grommets and o-rings look fine as they are food grade. The grommets and o-rings from your local h/w store of Lowes are plumbers grade rubber, they will fit but will degrade over time in contact w/ juice.

Thanks Yiddle. I do have Pay Pal, but have been a little nervous about doing the verified thing for some reason, so I haven't done that ... yet. Decided not to unless there is a good reason to do it.

Yes you do have to be 'verified' to access the co-op threads as well as take part in them. I was a bit apprehensive of of using paypal to 'get verified' but as I understand it, ECF just validates your email address is associated w/ verified paypal account. They can't access your account info and they don't do a trial deposit or anything. So I went ahead and did it.

Once verified the Health-Cabin co-op thread is: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/coop-planning-discussion/323906-us-only-health-cabin-coop-september-20-off-health-cabins-listed-prices.html

It's still in the 'planning' section of the co-op forum, not the active list. There's no minimum or maximum order. nomoMarlboro is trying to run this co-op each month. He does a fine job with it. I took part in his 1st one, skipped the 2nd, and will probably order in the current one.

I am using a 50/50 blend so would it be better to use a LR or SR, Single or Dual coil?? I have used the kr808's/carto’s until I bought my ego twist this month and am back to square one. My wife wants her own my Ego twist since trying mine. She loved the vapor production. (I should get hers this week, as I ordered it to surprise her.)

    Thank you your help!

LR and SR is a matter of personal preference not the blend of your juice. That said - high ratios of VG and dark juices tend to clog up carto's faster. You should be fine w/ 50/50 w/ respect to carto life. See my reply to kat, aslo.

    Yikes, I need more help...

    2.5±0.2Ω
    3.0±0.2Ω

When I used tanks a lot I tried the dual coil carto's. For me, it didn't improve the vapor and/or flavor compared to a single coil carto. It did seem to use up the juice faster. I went back to single coil carto's. At first I bought XL carto's with are the same length as the flanged DC carto's. I found you don't really need the flange. I didn't really need the capacity of the large tanks, so I cut my tanks down to fit a standard length carto.

LR and SR carto's. In the beginning we only had 3.0Ω carto's. These worked fine at 3.7 and up volts. The LR's came about for fixed voltage PV's to get a warmer vape at a given voltage. At a given voltage, say 3.7, using a lower Ω carto produces more watts - hence warmer vape. So it really comes down to 'your taste'. When I used eGo batts I liked 2.0Ω carto's, it warmed up the vape and produced a bit more vapor. Janet on the other had, still uses eGo primarily and likes using 3.0Ω carto's. She likes a cooler vape. With a VV like the twist, I'd suggest 2.5Ω carto's. I think that would give the most flexibility of going up/down with the voltage to find your sweet spot.

A Joye eGo only puts out about 3.3-3.4 volts consistently from a full charge to a discharged battery. Other eGo clones start at a higher voltage and drop as the battery drains. The Joye eGo is regulated for a consistant vape throughout the battery charge to drain cycle.

From what I remember reading 'months ago' the battery drain is really insignificant when trying to compare DC to single coil and LR to SR carto's. Yes in theory there's a difference but it's so slight you won't really notice it.

Hi harley. I haven't bought 18350's before but DV usually has really good prices on everything, and GREAT service:

    3.7v AW 700mAh 18350 Battery

He has them for $8.99. Shipping for a couple of these would prob be about $2.30

And CCV has 2 Efest for $10.95, free shipping
    Crystal Clear Vaping

    I use is also

I get my batteries here..I use there cheapest shipping option..and my orders come within 3 days

    RTD vapor

Another vendor for IMR AW batts with decent prices, low shipping, and quick delivery is Super-T. I've bought most of my batteries from them.

THe AW IMR's should be rechargeable 100's of times. I have 6 18490's that I rotate between 2 full size Provari's. At least 2 of them get charged daily. I also have 4 18350's that I rotate for my mini. At least 1 of these gets charged daily. I'm a bit .... and each of the batts is numnbered, I haven't noticed any of them that seem to 'give out' earlier than the other. All the batteries are at least 4-5 months old - a couple of the 18490's are 8 months old.

Harley - Provape only recommends AW IMRs because that's what they use to test their PV's. This doesn't mean other batts like Panasonic aren't good or don't work with a Provari I've heard many folks that really like the Panny's.

I only heard about the Efest tonight in this thread. I def wouldn't use no-name batts in any PV. Were the batts that didn't work in your Provari button tops - Provari needs button top batts to make the proper connection.

Thank you Mike! I am going to try the 2.5ohm carts and the smoketech XL single coil for the Ravens.
