Just a little follow up on the Kanger T3. The first three tanks I didn't have any dry hits but on the 4th tank I began to get an occasional dry hit. If I take a puff or two without hitting the battery button it then begins to wick good again. It probably just needs cleaning but I don't want to mess with it until I get my others in the mail. I still haven't had any leaking and I'm still liking them a lot.:)

Glad to hear it. But the BBB = hare of da fog... went over my head. I had to have Janet explain it to me.

Oh - JJ, I think it was you that asked about these. Just take a small amount of cotton and roll it into a tiny ball. Put that on top of the stock VvN coil. Just don't make it too dense or it will swell in size with juice and cut down on air flow. You'll know if you have too much, when you vape - you'll have to 'pull' harder.

LOL IFFY! That was cute!

MIKE3: do you have a literal "ball" or more "oval" so it stays on top the coil? Too tired to try to find earlier post - you mentioned the cotton. It's the 100% pure - non synthetic - correct? Could one use a bit from a bag of cotton balls?

Ted Bundy slayed 30 co-eds.

Al Bundy 'slayed' thousands of couch potatoes.
Yeah - that's what I thot ...

That's is what I figured and was going to try. TY...especially the "just use a little bit" :)

tx,

Are you getting a 'cooler' vape? If so, can VV adjust for that without scorching the joose?

Yes I am using it on my Gripper right now and I took it all the way up to the max 6volts and didn't get any scorching. That is the first time I've tried it above 4.2 and was shocked I didn't get any scorching. I don't know where the limiter kicks in but I don't find it tasting much different at the higher voltage. Except I'm about to OD from too much nic I went through about 1 ml in 10 minutes. lol

Tx - That Lambo Mini looks like a nice unit. I expecially like that it's a regulated battery.

Yes they are very nice looking but I don't think they come with a battery or charger. I did find the original version 1 mini for 31.00 and the 18650 for 35.00 here with the discount code VF Vari-Tube Silver
They are just the tube only also. The differences between the V1 and the Lambo are the Lambo shows how much charge is on the battery, reads resistance and has an ego type connector that has a spring post that allows you to use cartos that have different length posts that can sometimes cause connection issues. You can use any ego carto without an adapter except for the Kanger T2 and T3's would require an adapter because their threads are on the cone and not the post.

Just a little round 'ball'. I suppose the cotton from a cotton ball is 'all' cotton. You could try burning a wee piece and if it doesn't 'melt' like nylon sting it likely doesn't have any synthentic in it.

Now here is an idea I like! One thing that has always been on my mind when paying the kind of money we do for ego type batteries is that one day we will just have the throw the whole thing away. That's why I went with the Mod types w/replaceable batteries. I don't mind their size, but I hope this size/type becomes more and more available. And more colors too...purple is necessary :)

eGo Removable 650mah - Black

I'd thought of that too, having to toss the eGo, but I'd be tossing batteries too right? I'm still using the 2 eGo's that I started with a year ago. Can't believe they're still going. I bought 2 off brands just because they have a pretty wrap on them and one only lasted a month and it's dead. Don't expect the other one to last either. Eventually the 2 older eGo's are going to go so I'm trying to figure out what I want to do next. I really don't like the weight of the Provari's so I was thinking about the Gripper. I don't have that "I gotta have that one" feeling yet though so I'll just think about it some more. I do like a nice color instead of black and slippery metal ones don't make me happy. Hmmmmm.

I think you'd have to check the package on the cotton balls. The bag I have for taking off nail polish I'm pretty sure is synthetic. I do think synthetic melts rather than burns, but am not sure about all synthetics. You only need a very, very little bunny ball. It wicks liquid very quickly and helps keep the coil wet. You have to take it off if you dry burn.

Hey everybody.....it's Janet's Birthday today!

Hope that you have a very special day Janet!!! And CONGRATS on making your first JOOSE! You go girl!!!

Thank you so much Gloria and a very Happy Birthday to your son today too! Yay! I DID make joose today and it turned out! It actually tastes good! Thank you Iffy for your recipe and all the help and encouragement from EVERYBODY here. You pushed me into it when I was going to do it "someday" and I'm glad I did. This really wasn't hard. The eJuiceMeUp calculator was really helpful. So, if anybody is on the fence about trying it - go for it! It's fun to play mad scientist!

Because so many on this thread like the Mini Vivi Novas I went looking for some online. Seemed every place I looked they were sold out. I finally found them at LitecigUSA.com and it was a kit that included the 3 heads for $9.95. Seemed like a pretty good deal to me. Don't know if this is a good price or not. Other places I had seen them only came with one head..... can't remember where or the price, because they were sold out and I kept looking. I do have the regular tanks and so I thought it would make more sense for me to get the mini tanks and be able to buy one type of heads that would work for both. I found a 5 pack of heads at Vapor Beast for $15.99 that includes free shipping.
