Is that a Genesis rebuildable atomizer? I'm curious about these and wondering how
much manual labor is involved in the upkeep, and also do they deliver a bigger nic hit?
Yep, that be a genesis atty. There's a bit of a learning curve to working with the mesh and wrapping the coil. It's not difficult to do, just takes some patience to roll it, oxidize it and wrap the coil wire without it being too loose of too tight. Then when you dry fire it the 1st time, you may need to push a coil wrap up or down until all the 'rings' of the coil light up with the same intensity. It's not rocket science, ya just have to take your time and be ready that your 1st one may not work and you'll have to start over.
As to delivering a bigger nic hit. Typically when you have it setup and working well it deliver more volume of vape than carto's & CE type tanks. That in itself will give you more nic when vaping. And if you tweak it, it can produce a lot more vapor than most other juice delivery gadgets. That said, a well running Vivi Nova can be comparable to a basic genny setup. But I find the Vivi Nova's heads somewhat inconsistent, most work Ok, some work good and some work really well. With a genny when you get it right, you can duplicate it and it just delivers. I ran one wick/coil setup for a month and it was working as good after a month as one I first started using it. I couldn't to that with any other juice holder (except my iO6 drop tips). Every couple-few tanks, I would just dry burn, brush off the coil and ready to go again. The only reason I replaced it after a month was I wanted to try a different wick/coil setup.
So, I'd say after the initial learning curve, there's not a lot of fussing with it. Just vape it.
