What that's what they do "gurgle" when there is liquid in the center tube :D I have an EGO DCT and that little rascal is famous for getting liquid in the center tube. Then you have to rid it of the liquid, mop out the battery..bleh!

My T3 gurgles but I never had a leak. Weird.

Well, I'm not sure about the T3, but when I've had the gurgling, sometimes there is a leak onto the battery, not always though. Depends on how much liquid is in there. I always keep some paper towels or tissues with my stuff just in case.

Virgin Vapor has the mini vivi nova for $8.99, comes with the 3 heads :) Not a bad price for it.

Waves at Gloria :)

Nice find, that's a good price w/ 3 heads.

So tonight I rebuilt 4 Vivi Nova heads. How comes it is that, I'll spend way too much on a PV yet I'm too cheap to buy replacement heads so I re-do 'em myself. Go figure.

To the tune of Turkey in the Straw (you may remember the tune as "Do Your Ears Hang Low")... :D

Oh my T3 gurgles but I never had a leak,
It's far better than the old carto, any day of the week.
Won't you join me with your ecig and we'll vape til we drop,
And be happy that we're vaping with a T3 on top.

ETA: Sorry OC...but the way that you worded that just fit that tune so well... LOL

These are the DCT tanks I have...Dual Coil 510 Tank Cartomizer, 3.5ml, Blue

This is the EGO Tank I have eGo 510 Dual Coil Tank Cartomizer, 2.5ml, Blue

Actually I have two of each and run 1.5 ohm DC Carts in them. The EGO ones are a whip to fill and not get juice in the center hole. Probably should use on of those bottle caps like EC Blend has to get all the way to the side when filling. The EGO has become hard to get the carts for. Madvapes is always out of them :/

BTW my T3 is gurgling right now :/ But it isn't leaking..yet.

I put my juice in the bottles with the blue cap and needle top. Then you just pop the little attached plastic tip off, stick the needle down between the cart and the wall of the tank and fill. that way I never get juice down the center tube and it works great.

T3 seems to be the flavor of the week for everyone........but me  I could put up with the gurgles.........I guess........but I made the mistake of leaving one on my pv and left it standing upright over night...........yep! half a tank of juice in the drip well and down the sides. It's back to my splitfires........haven't had one that leaks on me whether left upright or laying on it's side. So far I've only replaced one head in two months of constant use............And I have a lot of really nice drip tips that can't be used on kangers. Think I'll just stick with my splitfires and fusions in my glass tanks.

Is there a crack in the tank? I wouldn't put up with having to take my tank off the battery at night or anytime for fear of a leaking situation. If they're leaking at night they're leaking during the day too, but you're vaping some of it up. I don't use the T3s, is this a common problem with them?

My T3 is spitting juice at me now. :/ I hate that. Which means it's not going to have a long life. Could be because the PB e-juice is a dark juice and might be clogging it. But it's 80PG 20VG mix. It's not leaking though, just not a real good vape at the moment. Don't think I'm 100% sold on them. My Vivi Nova heads last a long time and so do the DC Carts. Have that Vision V3 and it's still going strong and the Nano is too.

Janet I have one of those caps your talking about...got to find it again. I usually just steal the caps off the EC Blend bottles they are a really fine small plastic tip. If I use them it's easier to fill those EGO tanks.

Hi Yiddle...that's a bummer about the T3 leaking.

I'm curious about the Splitfires. How do they compare to the Vivi Nova as far as flavor, vapor and draw? Also, I'm wondering if the juice gets dark and thick in the Splitfire like it does in the Nova.

Hi Gloria.......can't give you a comparison on the draw 'cause it's been sooo long since I used my vivi novas.....much better flavor than them and plenty of vapor...............and NO the juice doesn't turn to gunk in the splitfire.....maybe because it's in a separate tank........the head never is immersed in the liquid. WallyO, who posts here likes a tighter draw, so he plugs one of the airholes in the base. For me...I like them just the way they are.

My T3 is in a box with my Vivi 3ml, just can't handle that weird metallic taste.
Too bad as it's a solidly built tank. I'm sticking with my carto/tanks.

Right again yiddle, the Splitfires are great. On some I have also draped a short (1") piece of wicking over the coil of the original wick and kinda tuck the ends under the other legs of wick. I am very happy with that addition also. Very similar to the flavor wicks Kanger uses on the T3's. Just make sure it is laying on the coil or it really won't have much of an effect. I usually push it down gently after it's saturated with juice.

I find some flavors are great in the T3 while others are not. Can't quite figure that out. All I know is I have filled some with juice I love in a Splitfire but the taste changes significantly in the T3. Some seem better and some seem worse.
I am having very good success with 50/50 and thicker mixes in them though.

I use the Splitfire, Vivi Nova's and T3's. I like all three of them equally well and they all work very good for me. I use the T-3's mostly with ego type pv's and the Vivi Nova with my bigger PV's. I also hate leaking with a passion but haven't had any leaking problems with any of them.:)
I see Vapor Alley has the new MT3's in stock. I have some coming in a co-op and haven't tried them yet but they look real nice. http://www.vaporalley.com/Kanger-MT3_p_474.html

Well I am still debating the T3 - but considering that I was not sure about the Vivi Nova at first and as of right now it is my favorite I think I have to give the T3 a little more time. When I first used it I made a real mess  Since I have been having some small leaking from the CE4s - after I vaped with the T3 a few times (so it was full) I went to check if it was leaking on the battery and ended up unscrewing the tank and dumped all the juice all over my keyboard :-x Fortunately I had another keyboard and my wonderful son - took it home and cleaned it all up for me.

After cleaning up the mess - I re-filled it - but it was gurgling and leaking everywhere. So I emptied it - washed it out and let it dry overnight. I have vaped one full tank since and it didn't leak at all. I did find that when it got below the 1 ml mark - I was getting some gurgling. I think that I did read somewhere that if you keep them filled above the 1ml then they don't gurgle :?: So I guess they would work if being used with a favorite juice that you are ok re-filling before it gets to the 1 ml.

I am looking forward to getting the Mini Vivi Nova - I hope I like it as much as the bigger one. I just don't feel comfortable using it when I go out - it just looks so big on my little 650 mAh Twist that I perfer when I am out. I am sure I will get over this too  eventually.

So - here I am - thinking ok I am pretty happy with the T2 and the Vivi Nova. Still debating the T3 and have a Mini Vivi Nova on the way. So I should be good and not have to order anything for a while  I did put myself on restriction before Christmas and I was good - just rewarded myself for being 6 weeks not smoking :)

Now here you all go talking about Spitfires :danger: I think I have to just ignore this - yup don't go looking at what these are - just forget I even heard about something called Spitfire.... I can do this.... I can do this.... :nun:

That must have been a mess. What a sweet son you have! :)

You so funny. Got me to thinkin. I think I'll force myself to hold off on the Splitfire until I've cleaned and organized every clearo that I currently have laying around. That could take a while.
