My taste is coming back my smell; well lets just say everything it’s grate love it. I can do things and not fill like an old wore out was rage.
Now I can’t give all the created to vaping I had my wife on one side of me with a can of febreze and my son on the other side with a bottle of perfume so they also had a hand in it boy you got to love them. So to all the ones out there that are thinking about doing this or saying this is going to be hard; stop you’re crying and just do it; you can thank me and every one on ECF latter. Fellow vapers,

I have tried cartomizers and just love the smoktech LR's but even the XL that holds 1.6 ml doesn't last long enough between filling/topping off. I have tried clearos, off brand garbage, wicked and wickless. I like the wickless clearos best as the seem to have less dry hits/burning.

I want to try a larger clearo or tank system, no more than 3-4 ml, not much more than $10. I hear (mostly) good things about the vision vivi nova's and am highly considering it.

What say you?

Oh, and it needs to be something that I can put in a pocket or the console in my car while I vape another flavor, and not leak.

I love my mini vivi. I thought the taste was a bit muted until I got to the next fill up - I think it was due to the long wicks. After that it was just fine. You should pop the drip tip off once in awhile and run the twisted end of a paper towel or tissue in the top of the vivi because some condensation seems to form in there. I thought it was leaking, but it was just the condensation and I never had to do it more than once a day so it's just something to be aware of. I've never had one leak and I lay them down in my purse when I'm out and about.

I'm an LR SmokTech fan also. Plus I HATE dry hits, be it with a clearo or RBA! May I suggest ya try THESE. The Boge carto isn't bad, but I do like my 1.5Ω dual coils in 'em. So, I just punch & pop one in these tanks and I'm off and away!

I'm done with the Vivi and T3 except in an emergency. I'm 100% carto/tank now.
No weird metallic taste, leaking, etc.

Thanks for the info X P3.

I have heard that there are many knock offs for the vivi nova stuff, I assume the real thing is the best thing? If that is true, where can I find one or two for a reasonable price?

I second the others on the Vision Vivi Nova's they have worked very good for me for a long time. I have had very few problems at all with them!

Thank you for the info. I saw one of those bags myself and thought about getting one or two of them. Now I know I will. Where did you buy yours? Geez its the best lesson I could ever learn and even though there was carpet and dog bed damage, I did have smoke alarms and I realized the first started very quickly and threw the dog bed outside and doused it with water. I am so relieved that my dog was not in that bed however. That scared me so much that I am very very careful now and very .... about it too. I love my dog and animals more than I do humans so it would have killed me if he had gotten hurt. Well thanks for your advice. That is the reason I like these forums, you can live and learn useful stuff. :)

Thank you all for your kind welcomes, its like a home coming type feeling. :)

Hi Jackie...Sorry I didn't reply sooner. I found my Lipo on Ebay of all places. In the interim, I've found that quite a few of the vendors listed on ECF carry them also.

My melt-down happened to my pass-thru while I was using it. We still don't know what happened, but, it melted the button & the tank on the ego, burnt the heck out of my hand & scared the heck out of me. I started looking into mishaps that can occur & that's how I found out about the bags. I wound up ordering a larger bag & glad that I did since I'm now using bigger batts & chargers, so that may be something to consider. As much as I love my 'pacifiers', respecting them & their power is a must!:vapor:

Ken, like a couple folks have said, a carto/tank is a hard combination to beat for simplicity and a solid consistent vape. I'm sure FranC and Jewels will attest to that also. And if you go Vivi - by all means make sure it's a Vision brand. I got a couple non-Vision and the heads are actually just a wee bit different and not interchangeable w/ the Vision brand.

Well looks like my whining earlier paid off - my Purple Spinner and Purple MT3 arrived today

Ken - I am really liking my Vivi Nova - but I didn't at first. Seemed like it needed at least one tank full and a cleaning - but now it is great. I just got my Mini Vivi Nova yesterday and now another one with my order today. So far it is a little muted compared to it's big brother - but it probably needs to break in too. We will see.

Same thing with the new MT3 - flavor not as good as the T3 I have had for awhile. I don't know if it is breaking them in - or if it is my still somewhat dead tastebuds - so so days everything tastes good - otherdays - not so much YMMV.

Looking good kari! Glad it finally showed up. And what's with all you girls liking purple so much. To paraphrase Henry Ford - I like my PV's in any color as long as it's black.

Not sure I can explain why we love purple - maybe because in my mind it equates to Royalty  I was so excited as I opened the package - had my husband shaking his head. His comment - oh my - you are actually shaking  ah well sometimes it is the little pleasures in life that keep us going

Isn't it fun when you find something that works well for you? :rickroll: Yay! Doing the Happy Dance now!

So true.
I have my 808s for stealth and I trashed the carts that came with and use the Kanger 1ml clear tanks
and those are AWESOME! Flavor is true and they never die.

Very interesting! I never knew that so I've already learned something new this morning. Purple is a nice color and I know a lot of people are crazy about it. I met a lady once who was known for only wearing purple and it was her choice of color for most things she owned. I'm really more partial to red, especially a cranberry red, but I pretty much like all colors. When it comes to PVs I'll usually go for a color because so many of them are black and silver which is what Mike has. It helps us to keep our devices from getting confused.

Funny how we evolve, I think I have come full circle with this. I started with a cigalike (80mah battery) got so frustrated I was ready to quit. Started looking at ego 650's and thought they were way too big (LOL) finally bought a 650-T kit and thought I was in heaven, the tanks soon gave me fits and so I got some ce4's then the rebuildable ce4's, then the 900 mah batteries, then the twists and spinners, then a provari, now I am loving the little 350 ego mini's for work with a bogo carto on them. Don't get me wrong I love the provari with a kanger T2, that is what I use at home, the mini for work and the twist for out and about.Thank goodness I don't have to choose! I tried RBA's and thats not for me, I tried different tanks different cartos and clearos, I am sure I will continue to try new things, but glad to have my reliable stand bys. There really is something for everyone! Now if I could find a vendor that catered to my needs and had the T2's and heads, bogo lr cartos, 18350 batteries, mini batteries, twist batteries, and DIY liquid and flavors I would be all set....oh did I say with the best prices so I don't have to shop around!!!

What do you use to clean the center pin on an eGo? I didn't realize they need to be maintained and after a few days of vaping cinnamon it is sticky and I need to keep pulling it out :( I tried isopropyl alcohol and a tooth brush but it didn't seem to touch it..

If you've gotten most of the 'sitcky out and the center pin is still discolored from a build up of deposits you can try using the eraser end of a wooden pencil. Put it in there and twist it around. A brand new eraser with a nice flat surface fits nicely. I do this occassionaly on my PV's to clean up the contact.
