Is it just me, or have ya'll been noticing the vendors are increasing prices every time we turn around?

Yes It seems that way to me also I bought a few passthru's for friends the first was $15.99 now they average $21.99

Very nice collection. It's a shame we can't rent different models so we could try them out before buying. There are so many to choose from and sometimes it's hard (for me) to make a decision from a picture on a website. It sure sounds like you're having a lot of fun with your new toys.

I'm the same way,Hate to order online, most of mine I got from different B&M shops I've found in my travels altho sometimes getting in them can be tricky as my vehicle is 73 feet long and 13.6 high.....lol.

Well, at least if there were B&Ms closer to us we could see different devices in person. I'm one of those shoppers who likes to pick things up before I purchase. These things are expensive. When I hit the lottery I'll open a store and have some of everything so people can come in and see a selection. Who knows, some people might buy something they didn't know they wanted if they could see it first. That might be kinda fun to just hang out and talk to people about vaping all day. Oh no, what am I thinking! I've worked with the public, maybe I don't want to go back to that... On the other hand, if I hit the lottery I could I could just show the problem people out the side door.

when you do make sure the parking lot goes all the way around the building so I can come by =)

Just saw this thread. Just started vaping recently after a 20 Month hiatus. I used that time to FINALLY get off of a 60+ Year habit of tobacco use!!! I found that vaping along with the ciggies & the pipe just wasn't getting Me where I wanted to be.

Since coming back to vaping, I have been trying a lot of different equipment. So far the best move has been a variable voltage vaporizer along with different ohm levels of cartridges. Been using 510 clearmizers with varing degrees of quality (mostly poor). Am now trying tanks.

I'll be 71 this Month, wish Me happy birthday:):toast:

Welcome Older 71

I am afraid that if I had a B&M close to me I would own more gear than I currently do. Buying without actually seeing it and testing it is one of the main things that keeps me cautious and limits what I order... Helps with my budget...
You got that shot right!! This first month of vaping has yet to see any savings over smoking analogs, yet. I know I'll see the savings soon. I hope. Having 2 dedicated vape shops within such close range I could easily make the house payment be late.

A huge warm welcome to all the new people showing up here :toast:

Afraid reviews don't mean much to me.....unless there's a serious safety issue......I'd rather decide for myself whether or not something is any good. If you sense a stubborn independence in that..........you're right.:D What works for me may not work for you, and vice versa, so............I'll just continue to buy what my curiosity finds interesting and my budget can afford.

Very nice job Bob! You've been around here long enough to know to ALWAYS make a holder bigger than you need right now. The cherry wood should age nicely.

Tumble, I'll be sure to make sure the driveway wraps around he building with plenty of room to spare! I'll have coffee too!

Happy birthday 071 and welcome to the thread. You are right up there with some of us seniors. I'm 72 and I've been vaping a little over three years now. I hope you come back often and share the experience with us!

I haven't posted for a couple days and the place has really been rockin'. Welcome to all the new faces. Please participate often. We're all in this together.

I was getting my round tuit about the time the PV holders got posted. I was building this one and I already realize it's too small. I may design a modular style that can be expanded because I doubt I'll quit expanding my collection.

It's cherry and will darken naturally when exposed to light.

Very nice setup Bob. That is one of the best I've seen. I plan on buying one when I get back home. I like the ideal of a modular one one for my ever growing collection.:toast:

I do try to watch a review or two before I buy a new mod but I do buy on faith every now and them. The Chameleon and Chi-You I bought on a pre-order and I like them really well. I also have a Billet Box on pre-order. I try to avoid the fan-boi's reviews and look at GrimmGreen or Busardo for reviews...they tell it pretty straight up.

oh - oh - oh! A Billet Box - they look really sweet. I was torn between that and my 1st mechanical mod, went w/ the mechanical. Be sure to let us know how you like it when you get it.

Looking good Bob. Cherry is one of my favorites. Seems whenever I make something out of wood if it isn't cherry I stain it cherry.

To me, cartomizer tanks work best. I have both a IBTanked, and a DCT locking tank. I like the flanged pre-punched cartomizers in 3Ω best.

Tx, you'd need one 3 feet long and 2 feet high! Maybe just go for a cabinet with custom shelves!
