I still have my Volts, and just recently bought a Volt Spinner with some T3s from SI. Sort of my last hurrah!

I am so happy you like the manual Ego.....especially the Celtic......it's just about one of the smartest ones I've seen!

I happen to like the T2s. For some reason, they perform better for me than the T3s and yet I love the Evods....go figure!

The celtic batt is REALLY pretty. Much better IRL than the pic VG shows. I'm thinking prolly another silver embossed batt and a hammered copper. Howev... I may wait until the IBT tanks get here to see if I am going to be happy using those on a eGO batt, or if I'm gonna need a even bigger batt. :p

Welcome Bells, sounds like you're well on the way of being a former smoker.

Natasha, some people prefer the short wicks because they think the flavor is muted in the longer wicks. I do find that it takes a bit to get a good flavor with long wicks, but then they're fine. I've used them short and long and enjoy both. It didn't take me long to get used to tilting to wet the wick. Glad you didn't have a problem making the transition to a fatter device.

Gloria, bacon juice? - didn't we talk about bacon juice a long ways back? I thought somebody said it was awful, but don't remember who it was. Guess there's a taste for everyone though! Think Radiator Pluid!! I love bacon, but don't think I'd want to vape it.

LOL.....nope....and I like EVOD better than T3.....but with either of them.....can't change drip tip

Yeah, the non-removable tip bothers me a bit. I just stick a Q-tip down in there, but I'd really like to be able to clean it with soap and a little brush like I do the other tips. Despite that though, I'm enjoying my Evod a lot. I got 2 and gave one to a friend to sue as she left on her trip. Wouldn't you know it, hers leaked! I gave her a replacement head and its fine now, just like some other people had reported.

I read a review where a gal LOVES bacon juice mixed with whipped cream juice. I gagged at the thought but each their own??

Mike do you have a preference between mesh wicks and ceramic??

I have a 'leaning' toward ceramic mainly because there's no leaching of juice back down the wick into the tank and turning juice dark. I have a leaning toward SS mesh (particulary since the 'scare' about bad chromium molecules is looking to be not accurate) because it's easier to get a good working coil, it actually wicks better, and is way cheaper unless you make your own. Much more tilting with a ceramic wick than SS. You really need to take your time and get the coil wrapped tight against the ceramic w/o breaking it to get it working well.

Here's the latest technique on winding a good coil on a ceramic wick. Looks like something your hubby does in the garage when doing a welding repair to his equipment.

LOL... No frustration ATM, but the shopping has not yet stopped!

So... the CE5 is aka "stardust"?

ATM, the T2s seem to have a bit more flav. I get an OCCASIONAL "burnt" taste w/ the CE5. But, I also read that this is not uncommon for the 1st tank of juice w/ a clearo. The T2 def tastes better right now. Howev, I like the fact that I can change the drip tips on the CE5.

And y'all know what I forgot to buy?? A freaking syringe w/ a needle nose tip. Bought from 4 diff places and did not buy a dadgum syringe. I did find this bulbous thingy in my kitchen... I guess it's some sort of mini-baster of some sort, never have used it.... and it works for now. But really... no syringe? Pffft

You're in the big state of Texas right? There's got to be a Tractor Supply someplace down there. You should be able to get syringes there.

The perm drip tip has always been a thumbs-down for me. I use T3s and MT3s. I now have my Vapeonly BCCs and they vape just as well, but you can use your own mouthpieces. LOVE IT!!

Natasha, I use T2's a lot, and love them. There are longer wick versions of the coils available, but so far I've only found 1 vendor that sells them. I also found I can very easily modify the short wick ones by adding a strand or 2 of Aunt Lydia Bamboo like in the picture (not a very good pic - taken with my little camera phone)

    2013-02-05 10.57.36 T2 Bamboo Overwick.jpg

If you have an interest in the long wick version, they are available here, but low stock as of this morning. He limits to qty 5 when until stock comes in, then it's limit 10. I hate limits but his prices are good. Use coupon code ecf for 10% off - then they are only .89 cents each. He will get Evods next week. Free shipping for $30 or more orders

Hope the link works this time Kanger T2 V2 Sunfire Replacement Atomizer Heads (Various Resistance Levels) - Vaping Me

If that one didn't work, try this one LOL T2 Replacement Heads - Long Wicks

I'm so glad you love your new goodies!!

What's all this stuff about carts and attys?.

If you're talkin' 'bout the ol' cartridges and atties, they have pretty much met da same fate as the buggy whip.

I've tried most clearos, and have went back to my ol' reliable 1.5Ω dual coil carto/tank combos. I've yet tried a clearo that hasn't giving me dry hits. And I HATE dry hits; ergo my DCTs!!!

Natasha I'm thinking that random burnt taste must be the wick is not feeding enough juice to the coil. Have you tried tilting and rolling it to get the wicks good and saturated?

You could use a needle threader but I didn't. I just poked it right through there like threading a needle. The little plastic piece will slide right up / off and then back on / down. The long strand or 2 of bamboo (or you can use cotton too but I like the bamboo best) just helps feed the juice. Mine works really well like that, very little if any tipping/rolling needed.

Yep, I am tipping and rolling. But this has happened w/ both the CE5 and the T2. I don't know. It's prolly something I am doing wrong.

Ya got me to go and search the thread for bacon. Back in January you thought it sounded "tempting". But I remembered it as you saying you were going to try it. Ah, the joys of foggy memories. ;)

    Lol.
Yeah I did think about it, but the more I thought the more I think I'll skip that one!

    Now the Bourbon flavor… :p

another thing that comes into play is how thick your juice is.......is it high in vg?

no ma'am, only 20% VG. I think maybe it's just me getting used to a manual battery, if you want to know the truth. I'm being more careful to crank on the batt 1st and give it a second to kick off. That seems to be helping!
