Hi y'all. Sticking my head in the door. I wonder if there are any other Reonauts in this forum? reosmods.com

I've been an on and off smoker for almost 45 years. Mostly off. But recently took it up again. Been vaping for 2 months and love it. I went through bottom feeders, top feeders and then on to dripping, which I love. But it's too messy for routine vaping. So I discovered Reos. And can't say enough good things about them.

Still searching for the "perfect" juice...and love the trial and error!

disclaimer: I am not an employee of reos mods, nor do I play one on TV.

Ya, my little Reo is my out & about er. Still a dripper at heart, and the Reo lets me drip & drive safely.

Hope you entice more people unhooked! Only been vaping 6 months myself, so didn't have any EXTRAS for you when you were asking.
My experience is similar to your's getting people to switch, and I found that if I simply provide a $13 kit and a bottle of juice for the $13, people are more likely to do the switch because they have paid for it.

Oh, and an update on the Kanger Protank! Using the protank coils didn't do me any good. Using an evod coil didn't work either. Today, I wrapped a new coil with 32 gage kanthol and a silicon wick. Used 5 wraps. NOW I get flavor from the darned thing!
Perhaps Kanger needs to look into their wicks.

I am actually glad to hear this. I was wondering if it was my imagination that my protank tasted better after my head rebuild than it did before.

Wow I just found this thread. Good idea. I have been on ECF since 2009 but never saw it or if I did I forgot. I am 63 years old also have emphazima, had heart surgery in Aug to replace a calcified valve, had to have both legs amputated in 07 from an infusion that gave me anaphalaxis. I started out like everyone else with the pencil style and have gone through a lot of changes. When I find something I like I usually stay with it. My favorite now is a ProVari with a DCT and 2ohm carto 3.5 ml. i use almost exclusively Vapor Station tobacco flavors but have been yearning for an RY4 like Don's from Backwoods Brew. I just ordered a Vamo cause I needed a spare VV and I have started trying to find an RY4. I like Vapor Stations, actually I mix theirs half VS4 half RY4. Got my first new one today it's IKV RY4 Gold. So far I am not that impressed but will keep trying it. I have Primevaping PV4 coming and just ordered HHV Heavenly Tobacco. My cardiologist wants me to cut down on nicotine but IKV only had 24mg. The rest that are coming are 18mg. If you haven't tried a VV ecig you should. It is great to adjust as the cartomizer gets older plus if you can't get your favorite resistance. I am going to try those IClear 30 clearomizers soon. Tanks are so much less of a hassle I love them. 3.5 ml is just right, the 6ml are too much for me. Juice gets dark and if you don't like the juice you are really screwed. Well I am rambling don't want to turn this into a social thing. Look forward to hearing from more old farts. Also this IKV is tasting better guess I had to get used to it. Vaping at 4.5volts with 2ohm cartomizer.

Welcome to the thread 2LS. Looks like we started vaping about the same time. You have me beat by a couple of months. Things sure have changed for the better since 09. I think you will probably really like the i30's being as you like dual coils. They work very good but duals run a little too hot for me. I'm currently using the VV/VW Groove box mod with a Kanger Protank. Quite a few of of the folks on this thread have Provaris. Hope to see ya on often.:)

Saw in another thread that you had a bit of problems with your scissors.... I got mine at home depot garden center. It's the small sharp ones they have at the checkout counter. I think they were called Fiscars micro-something. very hard and very sharp. ;)

Yes, I like the Fiskars line of scissors. They are very durable and stay sharp.

Darn it! I've misplaced my ohm meter for checking my devices after I rebuild the wicks! So while looking for THAT, I also looked for my multimeter. Couldn't find either of them. All the sites that sell the atomizer meter are out... So I went to Home Depot and got another multimeter. I'm sure my missing stuff will turn up when I look for something else.:glare:

You do know Murphy's corollary right?

You will only find a missing object after you have replaced it.

As I have experienced time and again. Once when I was looking for a pen I found a total of 12 scissors! Just now, I can only find 3 of them :D

Don't feel badly. I lost my phone for two days. After doing my laundry and putting the clothes in the dryer...there it was! I still can't imagine how it got there.

So I've been vaping Janet's Mistake for the last two days and it may become a staple in my juice stash. I asked her to mix me up some more Janet's Heaven and she did - well she thought she did. By 'Mistake" (hence the name) she used my Flavor Apprentice RY4 Double flav instead of Pear. My 1st reaction when she told me what she did was to just pour it down the drain. But she said I had to vape it first. Glad I listened to her.

Interesting the minimal blueberry added to the RY4 cut the sweetness and only added just a minimal trace hint of berry flavor. Doesn't taste at all like an RY4 variant. It's one of the closest straight up tobacco flavors I've ever tasted.

I kinda got away from most tobaccos. I still DIY my Captain Black though. Aside from that I trade out the following depending on what I want at the moment:
    Winterberry
    Creme de mynth
    Razzle Dazzle
    Sour Yum
    Wild Cherry
    Key Lime
    Blueberry
    Blue Ice
    Watermelon

I usually take 8 or 9 clearomizers to work with me and when it's time for a break, I will put one on a PV and one in my pocket to trade out during my break. Then every evening, I will refill any that got empty and top off whichever other one has the least in it. This way whatever I take to work the next day will have at least 2/3 in the individual devices.
Just in case, I take an extra bottle of one of the juices with me as well. Whichever one seems to be what I think I will vape mostly that day :)
