It gets darker in the CE2 too. Have you used some of the older model CE or just the CE4?

I tried the ce3's and just made a mess every time I filled them I still have some of them in the back up box which is getting rather large, the ce4's I have some of the older non rebuildable ones with long and short wicks, as well as the rebuildable long and short wick ones. I have noticed the ce4's get warm on my ego batteries, but hardly ever notice the T2's getting warm, so I am guessing the warmth has something to do with the color and flavor change.

Mike tell me about the Provari....................

Butting in here but the provari is just awsome ! I love my mini, it is built like a tank, feels great in the hand and just plane works all the time . I was a bit wishy-washy at first because of the price but finally pulled the trigger. I was the best move I made.

Oh Fran - that's a dangerous question to ask (and answer) in an open forum. It's like asking which is the true religion or which party (democrats or republicans) are more concerned about woman's rights.

That said - I really like mine, I couldn't imagine vaping without one (or three in my case). As much as I like the looks of fine wood mods, I like the form factor of a tube mod. The Provari is built rock solid. It can take a hard fall without damage to the finish or function - this I know from personal experience. It is on the heavy side, after all it's an all SS tube. i like the weight of it in my hand, it's comforting to feel it's heft. I carry mine in my pants pocket, it's not something you want to carry in a shirt pocket, too heavy and too prone to fall out.

Some people criticize it's one button control, for power up/down, batt check, ohm's check, light on/off, power on/off. You get used to that very quickly. You just get used to 5 presses, volts up, 7 volts down, 9 batt check, etc. You don't even think about it after awhile. I actually prefer the one button control over the multiple buttons of my LT's. The electronics include voltage regulation, short check/protection, overload protection, low batt warning/shut-off, battery polarity protection (in case you put batt in wrong), etc. All nice safety features.

The only downsides I see are the price and the number of options. Once you get past sticker shock, then you have to decide full size or mini and thne what finish (satin, chrome, black, gold, purple, white, pink, blue). The balck & colored one's are a ceramic finish - very durable, they do not scratch easily.

The mini will take 18350's or 18490's with an extension cape. The full uses 18490's or 18650's with extension cap.

Oh and - Provape gives really good customer service.

Disclaimer - can you get all or most of the features of a ProVari for less money? Sure. Does it produce better vapor/flavour than a less expensive PV like an LT or Vmax. Likely not. Can you drive to the grocery store in a KIA - yep. Can you drive to the grocery store in a Honda Accord? - yep. If you're thinking ProVari, it's like choosing what vehicle you prefer to drive and what your pain point is for it's cost.

A Lot

650 eGo Twist - 32.2 grams (1.1 oz)
Provari mini w/ 18350 batt - 126.1 grams (4.4 oz)
Provari std w/ 18490 batt = 151.9 grams (5.4 oz)

edit: Janet has lots of eGo's but not a 1000 mAh Twist
