So sorry my use of the word "they" bothered anyone. I spend a lot of time reading a lot of different threads. Seems as if everywhere I go people are discussing making their own wick and coils, hence my use of the word "they". I CAN'T do it because of my hands, but keep hoping I'll find a way anyhow, so I try to pick up on all the knowledge I can....................I'll go sit in the corner and be quiet now.

    Don't you dare! :grr:
No question is a stupid question. Some of the answer maybe though.

And if I said anything to help you feel that way, I'm sorry. Didn't mean too.

Oh Yiddle, I can see why you might read it like that, but I'm SURE he didn't mean it to sound that way. He meant "they" as in whoever seems to be the authority on this stuff - like a collective "they". I think Mike said he'd read a whole discussion about it so it was more than one person. Maybe they were adamant about purity or something and he was reflecting an attitude? I'll have to get him down here and make him explain himself!!

Hi everybody....just droppin in to say Happy Labor Day to all of you and hope that you enjoyed your Holiday.

I'll be stalking the mailman this week for some DIY flavors. Hoping to mix up some tasty coffee and fruit vapes (not together). Wish me luck! And if anybody has ever tried FA or TFA tiramisu, please let me know what percent you used? :)

Mike not all cheesecloth is food safe. It can be bought as yardage in fabric stores and that would have sizing in it. That's why I mention boiling cheesecloth ;)

I had no idea cheesecloth was sold in a fabric store. Never would have thought to look there, but why not? I've only ever gotten it in the grocery store and bought it to use with food. I suppose it could have some bleach in it maybe? Unless it's sterile I guess it wouldn't hurt to boil whatever you're going to use. When Mike did it he only did about a 1-1/2 to 2' length. Just used a small pan and poured off the 1st boil and then did it a 2nd time according to what he'd read. I guess it worked - how would we know? 2' of cotton should last quite awhile.

yiddle don't you dare be quiet...........Who has the best deal on the Kanger T2 innards?

Yiddle - NO NO NO - was NOT a stupid question. I meant nothing toward you or your question when I used 'they' in quote. My intention was to use 'they' as in what other ECF'ers have posted in other threads about using cotton. You know like 'dem dere' other nameless peoples that say things. I didn't want to come off as some know it all and claim I know or I came up with the fact it should be boiled.

I'm sorry you thought it was directed at you and/or your question. Oh now I feel bad that you got upset. My apology to you.

Dear sweet yiddle....please come out of that corner!!!! :)

I was sure that Mike didn't mean it that way...but I understand how easy it is to take things the wrong way in these posts.

take your drip tip off, and sorta fold a tissue into a point (or paper towel), I insert it sort of at an angle, then tilt the vivi. Sometimes juice and condensation will get in that ledge that you can't hardly see.

    Good tip Thank you
