Older Folks and Vaping

The biggest reason I am already doing DIY is that my wife really likes the unflavored juice. That and the fact that we are trying to save a few dollars along the way it seemed like the right way to start out.

Oh, something that I would LOVE to have is an atomizer with a drip tip. It's a pain in the rear to have to clean out a cartomizer for every test.

So, uhm...you're assuming that I'm sane?

I got quite a few of the flavors to try recipes that I found that sounded good. Now I just need to get around to making all of those recipes.

Thanks for the reminder about Koolada. I forgot I had this.

I have Koolio from Altcig. Not sure if it's the exact same thing as Koolada. It adds a coolness on your throat, but doesn't really add any flavor. It would go nice with Mint, tobacco, fruits or milkshake type vapes.

That looks like a decent kit that would get you started with Lorann or TPA flavors. The cheaper kit is good too. Just less nic and fewer flavors. Enough to get your DIY feet wet though. And you could always buy more flavors individually.

Ok...let's see. You need high nic and prefer tobacco or coffee flavors.

If you're on a tight budget, skip the kit. You don't really "need" everything in it. Get some 100mg nic, a few different size syringes and some PG and VG and a handful of flavors. If you don't have empty bottles from vendor juices you'll need some bottles too.

For the tobacco flavors, maybe vapingzone.com or ecigexpress.com would work for you. People seem to be liking their super concentrates for the tobacco flavors. There are threads here on the forum for both vendors that may help you decide if that's the route to take.

For a coffee vape, how about doing your own extraction with your favorite ground coffee? Search for coffee extraction. There are quite a few threads on the forum about it.

Of course as we've all found out...taste is subjective. So what others like may not float your boat. For example, you really like Heather's juices. I gave away the samples that I ordered from them. It's high quality juice, no doubt. Just doesn't suit my taste buds.

Thanks Fran, I'll have to check that out, I'm still a bakky vaper. And I never found a coffee that I liked. May have to revisit that again sometime too.

Now my interest is piqued... I have seen some of the threads about extracting coffee flavor, I wonder if I can do that with Folgers Instant?? KIDDING. I do think I might try it with a good holiday blend though - if I can find a few hours.........

I also hear all about these tobacco flavors that are good. I had a bad experience with tobacco flavored juice and am hesitant to try one, even though I think I would like it.
