   Molli that is so funny  I just told my hubby about another use for his beloved leaf blower was to clean the dryer vent and he asked the same question. So I am interested in hearing the answer - cause my thought was you would need to blow

I would think so too, but you can never be too sure, and you know what they say about 'assume'.....

Sure pal, I'll be there, just as soon as I get my feet on the ground.

I will be 59 in May and have smoked cigs since I was very young. I did some research on my first purchase which arrived on Feb. 14th. Unfortunately my research was all about cig-a-likes and I didn't know that anything else even existed.

I ended up getting Prosmoke e-cigs. Was very happy when I finally got them, but became disappointed quickly. Lots of vapor but no TH. So I ended up searching for something else and ended up placing an order for something on the 19th of Feb. I got a 510 eGo Redux Clearomizer kit. I can't actually recommend it yet because it hasn't got here. But if you're interested in what it is, go to: 510 eGo Redux Clearomizer Kit - Neon Vapors

From what little knowledge I have, I think it's a good kit for my next step. I've smoked for many years and even with the Prosmoke brand I got off of real cigs almost immediately.

Thanks for starting this thread :)

Hello BlackCanvas and welcome to the thread. I think you're going to like your new setup. My wife and I started with cig-look-a-like e-cigs and those only worked for us about a month. Then we moved up to eGo style PV's and were much happier with them.

Hey, don't discount cleaning that dryer vent and tube .. important home maintenance .. as to blowing or sucking, I think either one would work although you'll need something handy to clean up the mess .. :p

*looks at the emoti* I won't, no I won't, I'll be good....*slaps duct tape over smart ... comment trying to escape*

Unless this topic moves over to the lounge, I'll just pretend I didn't see nuttin'.

Yes - that is a good startup kit. Next think would be upgrade to a twist or a spinner. THEN you get into REAL money!!

Hi BlackCanvas and welcome. I was so happy to find something that would satisfy my hand to mouth habit, give me a little throat hit and keep the cravings at bay. I would not try to quit again because the cravings were absolute misery for me and I've had enough crap for one lifetime. If it weren't for e-cigs, I believe I would have died a smoker. Now, I don't want anything to do with cigarettes....yuck!!

I'd like to say I'm saving a bunch of money but to do that I'd have to stay away from here. Always something newer and "better". I did stock up on supplies to make my own juice which is a big savings. Keep us informed on how you're doing.

Congratulations BC!! Isn't it a wonderful feeling of freedom to be able to walk away from the ciggies? Looks like this kit is something you'll be happier with. A lot of us started out with the cig-alike and moved onto better toys until we find what we're happy and then happier with. Lots of good people here who have tried most of the devices out there and are always happy to help. It's a fun journey with new and improved things coming along all the time so we're all still learning.

Welcome BlackCanvas - I will be 59 in Sept and I smoke for 46 years. I too started with an e-cig that was the same size as a cigarette, but found within a couple of weeks that the re-charging was a PIA and after I found ECF and this thread I quickly learned that there was so much more available.

I was totally amazed that since I only tried vaping to see if it could help me cut down on the PAD+ I was smoking - I actually ended up quitting. I soon realized that I enjoyed the taste of vaping so much more than what my nasty cigarettes were tasting like.

So definitely making a step up to an eGo battery will make vaping so much better. I just got an eGo mini and it is pretty good. I still do like my eGo Twist and my Spinner - they just have more variability in the voltage - so I can adjust to what my taste buds are acting like or even my mood. I find that I like a higher voltage in the morning and I slowing end up lowering it through the day.

Ummm, that's not good. I haven't bought anything except those 2 EVODS. Are you talking nic or what?

I guess it is good that I went a little crazy last week and I should now be good for months - well I will be once my order with flavors and nic that is travelling across Canada arrives ;)

I am an older folk and have just stumbled in to the whole vaping adventure... and into this thread @ page 1054. Forgive me if I haven't read everything up to this very point... if I'd tried to do that, I'd have been a much older folk by the time I got done!

I smoked for 35+ years before an illness forced me to quit a little over 2 years ago. I still struggle with feeling like I ought to be doing something with my hands and the seemingly constant need to munch on something. It's my hope that vaping will give me some relief from these issues. I ordered my first vaping supplies last night and am looking forward to trying them out!

So hello and please, don't let me interrupt any further. I'll sit in the back quietly til I've figured out what's going on. :)

best,
Deb

You'll enjoy it. I smoked for about 40 years, the last 5 using "tar block" disposable filters. They actually work pretty well, but nothing like stopping all the smoke and tar!:)
