Way to go mmsjs5...sounds awesome!

I couldn't handle the 30mg nic though hehe. I love me some tobacco flavors! :p

It's a VG WTA, (Tobacco Road, from Aroma) at 24mg mixed with my 80/20 30mg (60mg down to 30mg with Tasty Vapor "doubler"), mixed approximately 10 ml WTA to 30 ml nic. I'm weaning myself off of the WTA because it's so expensive. My brain needs it, at the moment, so I'm going down VERY slowly with it.

Natasha, when I first started vaping, my mind was made up I was NOT going to have the "fat batt" "mods". I wanted something similar to a cig-size really ... was even resistant to Ego size. Well....now the big fat batts don't seem big to me at all...I love them, and love when the tank and PV look symmetrical. And I'm sure I misspelled that! :D

LOL... that's EXACTLY what I said. More than once.

So, in the "fat batt" category, is the Provari "the one to have"? I'm tired of buying things. I want to BUY SOMETHING, love it, and keep it. But the girly part of the me keeps saying... "yeah, but I want it to be feminine and PRETTY". OMG whatever....

I don't have a Provari, but if I could get one I would get a mini, and of course the extension thingee - In PURPLE for sure!!!! :):):) There are a good many folks here who have them and could really answer questions you may have about them. There is so much out there to choose from, it can become overwhelming really quickly...

Oh and Yep, it's pretty much "the one" to have hehe.

And another edit: You will want to have a backup as well, but perhaps your Volts could become your backup. I go to my daughter's house now and do my "work from home" job from there. I am like a rolling vape shop - it's ridiculous all the stuff I take with me "just in case".

Natasha........Take your time to decide what YOU want. We can all recommend, but you're the one who has to be happy with it. Have you looked at this thread?

If you browse through there, you just might find something that appeals to your femininity. You can see a lot of mods and tanks there and how some of them have been prettied up. ;)

Forgot to mention.......there are pictures in there of bedazzle tanks on mods :D

OK.. WHY the mini? And WHY an extension thingee? LOL the "thingee".

As to a back-up, no prolly not the volt. I'm already worn out w/ charging those batteries, I think. They take 4-EVER to charge. And have to refill the Nanos all the time. Worn out already by all of that, and hauliing a bunch of stuff around. SO maybe don't need 2 Provaris, but gotta do better than the VOLT for plan B.

yiddle beat me to the girly thread suggestion ;-) I got to the end of the page late.

and you don't need two Provaris, just one and two batteries - and then the world is yours to command...

How I wish I could get something like that...... :(

Yiddle... I spent hours the other day perusing that girly, pretty pink thread. I was just amazed at the creative possibilities! it's definitely a great resource, that thread. :) I read thru the young folks' thread, too, and I must say I felt a wee bit of old folk pride that somebody envies our great big thread.

And in local news, as you might recall, I ordered my first vaping supplies/gear/goodies last Wednesday ... followed by some supplemental stuff on Thurs, Fri, and yeah... more on Saturday. Two packages showed up on my porch today, and hallelujah, between 'em I was able to cobble together a functional pv! yay!! I'm so proud of me, I can't even begin to tell you! LOL

So, the only liquid that I have at this point is Dekang Doublemint, but thankfully, I like it! The mod is a Segelei ZMax and I'm using a Vivi Nova 2.5 with it. It was a little nerve wracking to actually be assembling these components after watching so many videos and reading so many posts, but it went without a hitch. No burns, spills or explosions and though I hadn't smoked in over 2 years, the first vape was smooth as silk. Ahhhhhh!!!

Another snow storm rolling through tonight with a potential to dump 8 - 12 inches of snow on us. I may be snowed in tomorrow and I'm wondering how long 10 milliliters of liquid lasts. Hope you're all safe and snug tonight!

Thanks, Yiddle! :) This bottle is the only one that's arrived so far. I'm just glad at least one got here when the ZMax did, else I'd have been left with nothing to do but imagine vaping. I ordered six 10 ml bottles from Vaporbomb and a couple 30 mls from Mt. Baker, and I'm hoping those get here in the next day or so. I'll have to get my timing down for placing orders, I can imagine it would be a sad thing, indeed, to run out!

10 ml should last 2-3 days.

    Hey there peeps :)

The only reason I stay away from this thread is that I really don't want to buy anything else right now; not that I don't like you :D

I also wanted to update y'all (practice in case I move to Texas this summer) on the Vivi Nova experience. I paid the extra for the Vision Vivi Nova and am not sorry! I have had zero leaks and once I figured out how to remove the little paper ring around the coil I have had zero burned taste.

Soooooooo, We are still at it and loving the fact that we are no longer smokers :)

Good to see you again Ken and glad to hear that you and your wife are doing well. So that little paper ring is not necessary and removing it will improve the flavor? Any idea what the purpose of it is?

You can come on in - just stay away from Tex's posts with all the new stuff it keeps being here. :) Nice to hear the connection problem is figured out and the Vivi's are working so well for you an your wife. I use full size Vivi's and Janet uses the mini's. It is convenient we can share our stock pile of heads.

Well ... I can understand Ken staying away because of not wanting to buy, but I do have to agree that I don't thnk Tex is the only one finding new goodies to temp those of us that have decided that we really...really... really do not need anything more right now

I stopped at the retirement check plus $35 an hour.

So when I retire I get my SS checks AND $35 an hour? WOOHOO!

Well - since I am retired and collecting a company pension - I just might have to figure out who to complain to about the missing $35 an hour  If I could collect that missing money - I could take myself off of my self inflicted ordering/buying restriction so that I don't have to go out and get a job to support what happens when I weaken after reading this thread ;)

Whoa I think I just came up with my first "recipe". I got some TPA Pineapple in GP's half off sale but it wasn't so much to my liking. I just mixed it 50/50 with Peppermint using my Eternity in drip mode. It's pretty tasty...think I'll call it Peppy Pineapple hehe :D:D:D

If anyone wants to try it, I mixed my Peppermint (TPA) at 12% and my Pineapple at 12%, then 50/50

Kat, I am going to keep your Peppy Pineapple in mind. My missing vape mail arrived from its cross country tour today and it included some TPA pineapple. I like pineapple - but I am not too sure about vaping it. I ordered a bunch of flavors with all the DIY talk a few weeks ago. I think the pineapple was to try Gloria's Bahama Mama - but I just realized that even with all the flavors I ordered - I missed the coconut or pina colada.

@Debi - so glad you got vape mail today too  glad too that you got at least 10mls of juice (that you liked) so that you didn't have to stare at the PV and could get to vaping.

Just personal preference on my end Natasha. I like flexibility :D If I won the lotto and got one, I doubt I would use the extension often, but having it would be nice. I use Ego-T Mods and recently got the short tube for it...really liking having both sizes.

OK.. WHY the mini? And WHY an extension thingee? LOL the "thingee".

Yep me too Kat. When I use the Mini T3 with the Shorter Ego T tube I can almost enclose it in my hand and while still a bit heavy it hides in my pocket...

I have now tried 3 totally different juices on this ZAP and have determined that I'm getting no taste and therefore I have a definite wicking problem. I guess it's time to roll my own before I give up.

Aw Fran, I'm so sorry you're having so much trouble. Mike and I have been tossing ideas back and forth and it just doesn't make sense. If you roll your own wick and that doesn't do it I'd contact them about sending a replacement. It's weird, the ZEN is not a big complicated machine, you'd think it would be simple to figure how to make it work. I hope you can get it working today.

The ProVari is a wonderful device, but it is pretty heavy. It would be quite a change going from a Volt to one of them. Tx had suggested a Rider Robust to me and I now have 4 of them. 2 black, a red and a purple. The black has a rubberized finish and the red and purple are "royal" colors in a shiny finish. The Robust is round and the L-Rider is square. They have a multi colored one that I like as well. Here's a link

When you have a device that takes batteries all you have to do is pop in a new battery and you're good to go. It's not like you have to plug in your device. The Rider battery is a 600 mAh so it's not a large one (about the size of a AA battery) It lasts me several hours and I do rotate between my devices during the day. I have no idea how durable they are because I've only had them a couple months, but so far so good.

The big consideration for me with the ProVari is that it's very heavy. The regular size one feels like carrying a flashlight to me! My mini fits a smaller hand better, but it's strictly a personal preference.

Congratulations! Isn't it fun?? So glad you at least got some juice - that would have been awful imagining being able to vape!! I think the average juice use is 3-5 mls per day depending on how much you vape. That probably holds true for me at least and I vape all day long, but I rotate between flavors so it's hard to tell. Anyway, you should be good for a couple days at least. Just don't spill it!!
