I'd like to point out in many threads across the forum people have asked if they can buy the battery separately. I believe Gotvapes is the only vendor to do that so far.

I certainly consider the pen cap to be part of the iTaste battery. It is one of the reasons I bought the iTaste. It will clip to a pocket, no need for a lanyard.

If I bought an iTaste battery and the pen cap was not included, I would return it. If, indeed, the pen cap is not included with the battery this should, maybe, be highlighted on the page to prevent others from being disappointed or to allow them to make an informed decision when purchasing.

no its not, the itaste battery is sold to us with no pen cap , we will sell them seperatly once they arrive, it bumps the cost to high.

I guess I have lived a very sheltered life since I have dealt exclusively with pass-through batteries (expect for the 3 Twists) and have never dealt with Innokin before. A pass-through battery (from any other company) always comes with a charge cable and always comes with a COVER for the pass-through connection, even though it is 1) not a part of the battery 2) not absolutely necessary. In other words it is just trim, but it is included for aesthetics.

The iTaste battery happens to be a pass-through battery.

I thought that Innokin would want to know different reasons for their iTaste not flying off the shelves (like they should be). It takes very little to turn customers away, it also takes a lot to turn them back again.

If they wish to create a world where pass-through batteries do not come with charging cables and cover, that's fine with me, just don't tell me that it has always been that way and don't expect me to be part of it.

I meant this to be constructive so please do not take it any other way. Since it is hard to tell tone from written comments, I thought I would add this.

I think we're talking about two different things here. I have a pass through and yes it has a little screw on cap that goes on the bottom as a cover when not being used as a PT. The cap we're talking about goes on the TOP and covers the cartomizer making it look like a pen with a clip.
I'm truly sorry if you were offended as I didn't mean to. For me the top cap is a nice accessory, but not essential.
edit: the bottom of the iTaste is finished in such a way that it doesn't need a bottom cap

Bad I did not say this was a bad price, just not for me. I noted in my post that your price was the best so far as I have seen.
The whole concept of this was easy cart change. But when the adaptor is quite expensive compaired to the cost of a cart it does not make much sense. I am not knocking it really. Wish they made one without the magnetic so you could fit a larger cart under the cap.

yeah no worries mak, we will see what innokin is willing to do on magnets, this is pretty much a brand new product, and it works rather well, so things like magnets and caps and more products for it will come and im sure certain prices can be adjusted if they work with us, i already have been in talks with my rep to make other products for it and larger caps etc.

these are becoming very popular and as weeks move on we will see what they are willing to work on

The iTaste we have up as a spare is just that, a spare. By itself it is most useful to those who already have the kit which has all the items you listed (cable for charging, pen-clip cap, etc). We are just rolling this out so we do and will have the other items available for purchase seperately...

Rcvd my iTaste (Chameleon) today. Been using it for about 4 hrs now. LOVE it !!!!! Easy to use, love the look and style, and most important, performance is outstanding. I Love this PV.

The spare battery is just the battery - nothing else. It's the only thing listed in the "what you get" section of the product page. So no adapter and no cap.

The Vision Mini will not fit under the cap.

So it is JUST the battery, meaning no magnetic piece that holds the cart?? Just trying to wrap my head around this - so basically one would not be a battery for someone that already does not have the kit, correct?

yes you would still need to purchase a magnet to use either 510 products or choose a 808 magnet for 808 connections

we will sell the carto tank from innokin that does not need a magnet, it plops right into the slot the magnet would go, we are also talking with them on making other products that plop right in the itaste connection without needing any magnets.

Is there a picture of this carto tank on the innokin website? (I'll go check) I actually prefer the magnets because it makes things a lot easier.

GV sells a different system right now.

What you have is an atomizer that's sitting inside a magnet, and a plastic tank cart that attaches to the atomizer.

What GV has is an adapter, also magnetic, and you can screw any 510 threaded carto into this adapter.

Yes, I also have the 510 adapter so that I can also screw any 510 threaded carto into it. The adaptor itself is magnet. I guess I'm confused about what Bad said about it not needing a magnet.

if you already have the itaste tank that sits into the battery itself then you have one version they sell, you can use that the tank you have without a magnet since its built into that tank

you can also use the 510 magnet to use the tidy clearomizers or any 510 atomizer or clearomizer, or you can purchase a 808 magnet to use any 808 connection cartomizer or atomizer.

the spare battery does not come with any of these magnets and at the moment we dont sell the iyaste tank that snaps in on its own until next week

Ok, this is becoming a comedy!!! I don't see how this can work at all without any magnet! Maybe I am confusing "tanks' for what I actually have! I will post a pic!

Yes, that's what I have - but the cap/tank punches/snaps into that metal magnetized tank, and the magnetized tank plops onto battery via magnet.

Not sure what you mean by "extension" magnet.
