The cartos that fit under the cap are too small for you?

dang. i'm a bit turned off by the fact that the caps wont be used. the main thing that caught my eye was the cap because it would make it safer to toss in my backpack without worries of something pressing onto the carto and possibly breaking the tube off. i think ill have to hold off my itaste purchase for now ><

just saw that there are two sizes of the tidy cartos thx to Lord Davon. i guess the cap CAN be used LOL! but the smaller tidy carto is too small for me. I can go through a mL in about 2 hours with my normal vape pace so using a carto that small just so i can use the cap doesn't seem work worthy sadly :(

I have a tank system iTaste and can verify that the tank holds just .7 ml of juice.

Your thinking is very reasonable - something I lack where vaping toys are concerned. :D

On the other hand, I used to really like Fluxo Regs, and since they fit under the cap, I'm all set. Those last me a good three hours of straight vaping, and since I rarely straight vape when I'm out, it's good enough. I can take extras with me if I need to... VE Nanos should fit too, and those are really good vaping.

Thats actually what i'm waiting for :) I hope they put they include the new caps with the next shipment of kits or something. only then will I consider purchasing one.

I started going through this thread but do not have the time to read 20+ pages.
Can someone list what carts that will fit under the cap? Not sure I will like the 510 TIDY BC Clearomizer.
I have mostly 808 stuff however, most are in the 1.5ml range. When will we be able to get additional bases? Kind of silly if you still have to screw in a different carto every time you want to change it out. Kind of defeats the purpose of a magnetic base.

Extra magnetic bases are available - I have a few. Can't tell you what other carts fit under the cap as I'm still waiting for my 501 adapter.

My Riva 510 broke a few days ago, just in time for me to make a huge upgrade to this! Getting a white one, really looking forward to it :).

IMO the purpose of the magnetic base isn't just to make it easier to switch 510 items... it's to try to create a new standard of connection types. Like bad has been saying, he's trying to get square stardusts with the magnetic connector so that you don't even need the 510 adapter. This also cuts down significantly on space which means we can fit larger tanks under the cap.

I think the cap is great, even if it doesn't fit much. The point of it (at least for me) is when going out. 1ml tidy clearomizer under the cap, and maybe one spare one. At home, I'll have a Vivi Nova on top of it. I can understand why people would want more, though, as I'm a relatively light vaper (1-1.5ml/day).

Picture this:

New version 3 iTaste is released. It includes a micro USB charging port on the bottom and does away with the Nokia style. It comes in a kit with two battery's and a pack of five square stardust cartos that fit under the cap and have a native magnetic connector. It becomes the new ego. Perfect for new and veteran vapers. Gotvapes exclusively sells this kit for $99.99. They fill bath tubs with money and we vape happily ever after.

Maybe someday?

Got it in today! Wooo-hooo!!! :D

First impressions: It's very, very pretty - I got chameleon, and it has a shiny perlized finish, and it really does change color in bright light, but in more sudued inside light it's mostly dark purple, with occasional shading into dark green and dark blue. Very tasteful. Heavier than the 1000mah Twist, though not by much. The same length. About the same length as the body of the 900mah Twist (minus Twist's button band and above). Gives a very solid impression.

*Very* comfortable to hold. Great button - clicky but not hard. Easy to find. Good positioning. Great that you can just plop it on the table horizontally and it doesn't roll.

Easy to change settings for voltage, etc. It's too bad the functions are, forgive me, screwy. For me, the only useful display is the voltage, the puff counter and the voltage suggestions might as well not be there. I'd like the carto resistance displayed. And the only way that I see for the puff counter to be useful is if we could reset it for each "puffing" session without turning the batt off - that would be good to model vaping more like smoking, several puffs at a time, rather than just keep puffing all day long - some people might want to do that. Otherwise you have to go through all the rigmarole of counting how many puffs per day, and how many puff per battery life, etc, etc - I don't know how many people have the patience for that.

However, all that aside, the battery is *great*. Absolutely great. Comfortable, with good display that is also very pretty (love the mirror effect) and very well visible when used, great button, comfortable shape, etc. I love it, I really do.

The connection is pretty much what I expected, no surprises there, works exactly as what we saw in reviews. Other than the slight wobble with the 510 connector is a lot more slight than I expected. I have to push on it with some force to wobble it, and the result is insignificant. If you don't bug it, it won't bug you.

The cap fits onto the batt *very* tightly right now. Hard to get off. I expect that will loosen up with time.

Now, for the Tidy. This was a *huge* surprise to me. It's a bottom coil, but it doesn't *taste* like a bottom coil. The taste is dense, full, sharpish - sort of reminds me of the Fluxo, but, actually, stronger, I think. 2.3 Ohms is what I got. I had it up to 4.5 Volts with no dry hits. After 4.5 Volts, it started dry hitting often. More than enough range for me.

Now, I am *extremely* finicky with the flavor of my cartos. I think this is one if one of the best, flavor-wise, for both top bottom coils *and* top coils. The flavor is stronger than a Stardust, but sharper. If I make an analogy with the sound equalizer, the Stardust is flat across the frequencies, while the Tidy is boosted at the treble.

I think this is a *great* carto. It doesn't leak. I have it on its side right now, on the batt, and haven't seen a drop of liquid where it's not supposed to be. I'm going to be getting more of these things. They remind me of Nano, but without the funky mouthpieces that fall out sometimes.

Not all is rosy, however. The mouthpiece on the Tidy is just that flat plug, and a 510 drip tip doesn't fit, the tube is too narrow. Also, it doesn't *quite* fit under the cap of the iTaste. You can force it, and the cap will sort of click closed, but it's not a complete click. It wouldn't fall off, but it's not quite right either. Plus, by forcing the cap, the Tidy gets jammed in there, and I'm not sure if that's doing any damage to either the carto or the adapter. What happens is that you jam it in, and when you take the cap off and try to take a puff, it's no longer making a connection for some bizarre reaons, so you have to loosen it up, and then it works again.

That kind of bugs me, because here I have a great PV, and a great carto that came with it - and I can't quite use them together.

But, in the grand scheme of things, it's a small-ish problem. I very, very much hope they'll make bigger caps for these

So, to summarize: I LOVE THIS THING. This definitely going to be my main PV for going out, hands down. As soon as I can, I'll get more batts. And i am going to get a couple of more adapters today, before they are gone.

Great PV. I'm a happy puppy.

$6.49 for a single adaptor - that killed this sale for me. Looking around other vendors this is actually a good price.

go look around then come back to this forum when you find it for much much cheaper, .lol Im sure you looked around by now and you seen that this is actually a decent pricing for them.

i looked around too 6.99. 7.49, 7.99 is what i found, ours is 6.49 and you get your 5% newsletter off of that as well, so we are priced properly, like i said 6.99 and up is what they are going for on other sites.

The reg. Fluxo fits perfectly, btw - and I have a few old-fashioned green left, and they look spooktacular. Of course, now I have to get into lifting those plugs again... LOL

And the Stardust looks fine on it, btw. *I* think. Needs an eGo adapter, of course, but you can't really see it much under the skirt.

Of course, when the native square Stardust comes out, I'll be in Stardust heaven. LOL
