If you vape 25ml of 3mg/ml liquid per day then you would need 273.75 ml of 100mg nic per year that you plan to live. Another way to look at it is, 1 liter will last you roughly 3 years and 8 month.

Thanks Scott! Appreciate it :)

You should add the link to the editable spreadsheet.

Here is how I do it manually, and it's really easy (I color coded the numbers to show where they go at in the next calculation):

Say you vape 8ml of 6mg/ml liquid per day and want to stock up on 100mg nic base for 10 years:

6 / 100 = .06 (percentage of nic in your liquid)
8 * .06 = .48 (ml of 100mg nic is needed per day)
.48 * 365 = 175.2 (ml of 100mg nic is needed per YEAR)
175.2 * 10 = 1752 ml total.

If you want to convert the ml total to Liters then divide by 1000:
1752 / 1000 = 1.752 Liters

Well, I'm going to need a few more liters. I think. It's really hard to estimate mls needed with so many setups.... But, I am getting there.

Thanks for the calculator, @mikepetro ! It did at least give me a general sense of what I need, and I really don't need too much more...

For those of us that mix for others, as I do for my wife, stockpiling was always more important than if it were just for me. Hell, keeping her vapes in good order might be the only reason she keeps me around!

@NicotineRush - Heartland Vapes has very good 100mg/mL nic base IMO, and they have several brands from $44.99/liter - $82.99/liter. Their own $44.99/liter is an especially good buy. I've bought it, and so have 4 friends, and we all really like it. Many on here use it, too. You also get Free S/H for orders over $50.

Just wondering. What's the difference between the $44.99 nic liter and the $57.99 Nic Select liter? Are both water clear? The data sheets are indeterminate.

Ive stocked up somewhat in the past when FDA was playing around in 2016. I need to restock again grrr... Guess I will be ordering more devices soon and lots of nicotine and flavorings etc. I do use 2 devices and have 2 in the boxes in my vape closet. I tested them and put them back into the boxes they came in. They were intended for if mine broke for back ups. I guess I need to work on expanding my back up closet to plan for the fda to be real jacks....

I've only bought their $44.99 HV brand nic base, based on previous recommendations from others on here. Haven't tried the Nic Select, so unfortunately I can't give you any info on any possible difference between them.

I can tell you that IMO though, their regular $44.99 100mg/mL nic base is every bit as good to me...as what I've gotten that was more expensive, from Wizard Labs, Nude Nicotine, and RTS Vapes. The friends who've bought it are also very pleased with it, too.

ETA: IIRC, @IDJoel was one of those who also really likes it. Maybe he'll pop in here with his opinion of it, and possibly others may as well.

Thanks for the reply! I decided to go ahead and order a couple of liters to add to my stash.

@DaveP

I use NicSelect exclusively and I like it a lot. I haven’t held a nic “tasting” or compared different brands blind or anything, but I find it to be very clean with very little harshness or taste. Clear as well.

NicSelect IS more expensive, but $10-20 extra per litre over 5 years of vaping for me is more than justifiable.

Me too. I've tried RTS, NN, WL, MFS, and others but Heartland's $45 100mg nic is my favorite and IMHO every bit as good or better than those costing twice as much.

Those that have commented on the $44.99 liter say that it's clean and clear, so I may just order a liter for comparison. I thought my MFS nic back in 2016 and it has never been frozen, so it's developed a dark amber/brown color. At 3mg/ml mix I don't detect any harshness or flavor, but I haven't compared it to clear nic. I might just order some and compare.

Thanks for reminding me. I've been measuring my nic stash based on how much I vape. But, I've been mixing for my sister for almost a year now. I need to start taking her into account. Also, a little spare in case my daughter ever starts to vape regularly.

Two more liters need to be ordered soon!
