My sister and I got our RN4081's or super ecig's 36 days ago and haven't looked back. I got a second super and she has a titan now, we love our ecigs and have completely quite analogs. My girlfriend is a couple of weeks behind us analog free and her mom just got one a week ago and is trying to get down to zero analogs (I think she needs to find the right nicotine level). Our neighbors got their supers this week and are really excited to become e-smokers. These things are spreading like wildfire around here. :D

Just for the official count in my neck of the woods.

3 totally off analogs
3 in progress
And More potential vapers every day

Some more posting and I'll be able to put my counter in my sig.

I have been trying to quit smoking for years and never thought I could really do it. A friend of mine had the "e-cigarette" and said she loved it. I purchased the starter kit 2/22/10 and received it in the mail 2/23/10. I had 2 cigarettes left and had been "vaping" all day, I thought I would at least get my moneys worth and smoke that last cigarette, well I lit it, and put it right out! YUCK! How did I do that for 20+ years? 8-o

I feel better, I SMELL better, life is good! :D:lol:

Can't wait to see how much money I save in a year while vaping instead of paying $5.00+ dollars a pack for cigarettes!

Love Love Love Vaping!

I first tried to quit with the patch and other nicotine replacements. This resulted in me ingesting insane amounts of 'Commit' lozenges and sneaking in at least two cigarettes a day for about 6-8 months. So, they didn't work.

Then I uncovered ecigs. I think I tried 2 analogs since the day I got my first 901, both of which tasted hideous and were put out after only a few drags. I've now been cigarette free for over 8 months, after smoking for more than 24 years.

I was not planning on quitting cigarettes when I first started using ecigs. I think my husband was planning on it more than I was. After this I did not let my husband know when I smoked a cigaratte which was late at night when he was sleeping. Then eventually I didn't like cigarettes and completely quit. This was 11 months ago.

It just happens. I was off real cigarettes within a week. However, it took me about 2-3 months before I had no desire for a real cig. Just stay with it. It has helped many thousands give up cigarettes - folks who previously failed with pills and patches - like me. A real life-changing and life-saving device. Now, why the anti-smoking lobby doesn't embrace this is a REAL mystery. I'm a physician and I am thrilled at the results people are getting - I embrace them. Dr. G.

Stopped 5 months ago. I was slightly tempted this month as I went out of town and was the only one vaping amongst many analog smokers and my atomizers were acting up BUT I hung in there and did not partake. I can actually smell things again!! On the downside I am married to a smoker and now I realize how much analogs reek... I am trying hard not to be an annoying ex smoker but wow those analogs smell awful now.
