You'll want to custom cut tubes selection. OD of 20mm and you can either go with the wall thickness of 1.8mm or 2.5mm. The 1.8mm will give you a ID of 16.4mm and the 2.5mm will give you a 15mm ID.

Either way you will need slightly bigger orings. The orings on the orion are OD of 12mm, cross section of 1.5mm giving you an ID of 9mm. You'll need to hold the ID of 9mm for the oring and increase the cross section for the new to meet the ID of the tube you pick.

I believe you will want them to cut them to a 23mm length.

Sent from my Transformer TF101 running on SS mesh & Kanthal.

I mean you could make it work eith slightly larger orings, because the ID of the tank would be going from 16mm to 16.4

So, wait, I thought I had read in this thread, that the stock orion oring size was OD 12mm with a 1.5mm x-section, which would make a ID of 9mm. And the stock tank is 20mm x 2mm with a ID of 16mm. How does that work? I must have read wrong or the size of the stock oring was incorrect.

Edit: I did

12mm w/ a 1.5mm cross section is what Les uses.

I remember taking my orings off and they didn't seem to stretch out enough for a 12mm OD oring to fit snug on a 16mm ID tank. There's 4mm of play in there? Maybe it did stretch them more then I remember.

That came directly from Les. He said the 12mm could be 10/11mm, but the the CS was most important. Said he was using 12mmx1.5mm CS.

IDK but the dimentions for the tank 20x16 (od x id) I found on the orion resources sight *cant remember url* but I wrote them down when i read the info. However I emailed IBTanked.com and we have been talking and the guy said that he can order some Fused Quartz Tanks 20mm x 2mm, but would need a minimum order of 10 tanks @ $15/pc so maybe we can get a co-op together if enough people are interested?

Well I'm running the 635 mesh co-op right now, which has been an ordeal dealing with those commie Chinese crooks. Perhaps dealing with an American manufacturer would be easier. I'd be in for three of those 10. You should start a co-op discussion thread about it since you have been talking to them, and see if we can find someone to run it.

Not to be taken wrong, and kudos for running a Co op Shooter.
But wouldn't it seem easier to buy the 1.8mm tanks, run to Lowes,.buy 2 larger o rings for 1 dollar and buy the readily available tanks for 10$?
And have a slightly larger juice capacity.

Yes that would be the easiest thing to do and if I were to just buy a few tanks for myself that is what I would do, however if enough people were to get involved in the co-op that would bring the price down, if there isnt enough interest then yes i will just buy the other tanks.

This is a great idea because I have 2 orions, one has a stock cap and the other is drilled to 1/16 i like both draws but I really have to be in the mood for the tight draw, this would be the perfect soultion for those who want to bore out one cap and keep a stock sized one! Im down already posted in you thread, thanks for the heads up!
