Glad you finally had working Ultrafire batteries. It lasts me around 2-3 days of heavy vaping (sometimes reaching the cut-off).
I have been having more than my fair share of headaches from the v8. I am using it with aw imr batteries and a 4-ohm Thor. I've been running mostly in the 3.5 to 3.7 volt range. After only an hour or so, the indicator says "Lo" while firing. I'm charging the batteries on an old Trustfire TR-001 charger. They come off peaked at 4.23v, and the error occurs at 3.82 volts. What kind of charger should I be using with these batteries? Am I getting a false peak?
This is the first time I've heard of this. I don't think that it has to do something with the charger and batteries though. Have you tried using sr cartos and atomizers on the V8?
Penguin I have the same issue. It says LO on and off and still fires. Only with the AW IMR batteries.
I have 2 pairs of button top AW IMRs that I got from Discount Vapers. I think they are 700 mah. I use the Xtar WP2 charger and mine last anywhere from a day and a half to two days. I think the lowest ohm carto/atty that I ever attach to it is 2.4. I have used Dual Coils with it and notice my battery drain A LOT faster.
But never with the Ultrafires and blue batteries?

Yeah it does it with the Ultrafires and the blue too, I didn't realize it but I noticed it yesterday. It starts after maybe 30 minutes of vape time.
Not with every battery change, just sometimes. I just deal with it, no big deal.
The dual coil cartos that I have are mostly 1.5 but I sometimes use 1.25 and 2.0.
The Vivi comes with different heads - 1.8, 2.4, and 2.8.
I see. Have you tried using the 2.4 and 2.8 ohm vivi heads?

Okay, here's one you V8 people will know. For some reason I can't get it clear in my head. (I thought I had figured it out but I might have it backwards again.)
If I am vaping on my V8 at 3.8 using an atty/carto/tank that is 1.8Ω and I replace the atty with one that is 2.4Ω then with one that is 2.8Ω, which one will hit the hardest?
I thought the lower resistance simulated high voltage vaping so the 1.8Ω would be the hottest but I nearly blew my sinuses out when I popped a 2.8Ω on my V8 at 4.2V.
