No... that isn't a problem. I think if that was the case, there would be one giantic landfill full of vaper's ecig batteries... if that kind of thing really worries you, maybe you should get a multi meter thing to check your batteries every time you charge.

I was really contemplating on getting a multi meter. There are cheap ones so I think I will invest on that just to be on the safe side. Thanks dragonbone!

Yes I do still have the problem. Mookie said to switch to 2.4 ohms. I will try that.

I also have the problem when using 2.0 and 1.5 dual coil cartos in a tank.

I'm also using a 2 ohm dual coil cartos and several 1.5 ohm atomizers. What I'm trying out now are the atomizers, set at 3-3.6 volts. Will see if it will improve my vape time.

P, it depends on what charger you are using. If it is an Xtar or a better one, I wouldn't worry about it. If it is the stock charger I would try them and see if they act wonky.

I'm using the charger that came with the kit. The vendor told me that the charger stops the charging process when the baterries are full. But I really don't want to take any chances. Although I've tried the batteries today and they seem fine.

Bingo! Thanks. Are they definitely going to fit and work though...? I don't want the problems others are having...

Oh, interesting. How long was he here for? Yes, Tokyo is a very amazing city, but I have been here a loooong time and miss western culture. By they way, what happene to your old pic with the city scape behind. I liked that one. Or am I confusing you with someone else now?

These are the same batteries that I have left in the charger..

I'm sure your batteries are fine! The problem arises when people repeatedly leave their batteries in the charger for days. But I did that years ago, when I started vaping, when all the battery fear hadn't reached the Vapers yet. I often forgot my batteries in the charger. I never had any problems...
I have read that; one should make it a habit of letting freshly charged batteries cool for a minute or two after removing from the charger, and - after inserting freshly charged batteries - always press the vape button once, away from the body.

Btw, I have heard of a socket timer thing, that you can set for X amount of time, then it switches off. That is cool, and I want to find one although I don't know what the name is.

Good advice! I like the idea of socket timers but I have yet to try one.

Hey YourFired! Long time no see :). Playing with all you other new toys hehe?

Yes, I read about it somewhere on the forums. I think it's a great idea. Then you can charge your batteries before going to bed or something without any worries as it will switch off when required.

Any appliance/lamp timer will work. I've got one I use for the Christmas lights every year that has two sockets & timer circuits. It sits on my desk at work and charges one channel at a time for 4 hours each during my work day. I set the first one up with a 4-port USB hub and charger dongles for eGo batts and the second for my Xtar WP2-II.

Here's a bunch of decent ones on Amazon for reference.

NOTE: This is what happens when techie/computer geeks start vaping. :2c:

Wow, fantastic JeepBear! Thanks for the link. I am definitely getting it now! I am also constantly worrying about my batteries that are charging for my many devices. Cool idea for Christmas lights too.

Do yourself a favor and get the Xtar charger. It is the least expensive of the "good" chargers. You can get one that just charges two batteries at a time, but there are ones that charge more than two batteries.

I plug my chargers into the same surge protector that my desk lamp is on. When I go out or to bed, I flip the switch on that, turning off the power (and saving electricity.)

I have noticed that some of the chargers continue to have lights on after the power is off. Someone suggested that they might be pulling power from the battery. Those I unplug -- it's easy to remember as I'm leaning over them to get to the surge protector at the time.

I guess I'm just a bit too much paranoid about these things. The socket timer is a good investment. Thanks for the info about the batteries. Makes me sleep a lot better at night.
