HE, HE, I also ordered Lambo because of resistance and battery voltage functions, but now I saw new V8 and also sigelei started Zmax with a lot of really great functions at almost same price as Lambo...
I totally want all new models![]()
I know, that's why i wrote Sigelei Zmax. Here is the Link: Sigelei ZmaxSigelei Zmax? Huh? The Zmax is made by Smoktek.

@dragonbone Little off topic, sorry, but at least it is same manufacturer![]()
Never had any problem. You also have warranty, they will replace you broken unit with next order.Ooooohhh! I love that! Is it safe to buy from there?

Ask for quote from few sellers, choose seller which is active for a long time (2 years) and find someone who wants to sell you 1 piece.
Zmax is 45 usd, new V8 (with resistance check) is about 25-28 USD, old V8 is 18-20 USD for sample orders, just for info.
My Ovale V8 found in the Classifieds arrived today. Seems A-OK. I had thought it was an early glossy model, but it is newer with the flat top. ...no complaints here. It works fine in my left hand.
Usually empty batteries. If it reset voltage to 5.0 v then you have shortcut somwhere.Sometimes after a draw on the Ovale V8, I get a blue blinking light around the fire button. What is that indicating?

Well I finally took the plunge and ordered a V8 from Eric, whom I can't say enough on. I've read all the threads on it and decided I wanted one. It will be interesting to see how it hits compared to my Lava Tube and my Vmax, both of which I use daily. I think the hardest part is going to be deciding which tank to use. I tend to lean toward the Viva Nova's but I also have a Griffin and a SmokTech RBA , both of which I love but I'm still learning how to get the wicks right.
Just as an added thought, I've been rebuilding the heads on the Viva Nova's for some time now. I can get them down to 1.5 ohms and all the way up to 3.0ohms.
I think it's going to be an interesting ride to say the least.
And by the way, I've enjoyed reading all the post, some very good information to be sure.
Is there a U.S. vendor with the Ovale V8 with resistance display as of yet?
Wow, cool! Thanks for sharing that! Also glad you got your Ovale going againLast night I had the "Ch" indication on my Ovale V8. It wouldn't fire and would reset itself to 5.0 Volts. In checking the forum, I found reference to "Check Connection." I opend the Ovale V8 and investigated. I did a lettle resetting of the insulating gromet around the center pin. Upon reassembly, I continued to receive the "Ch" indication.
I then took a pin and lifted around the edges of the center pin from the top side. I was surprized at how movable it was. This seems to have done the trick and the Ovale V8 returned to normal functioning. Thank goodness the "Ch" indication does not necessarilly indicate an overall failure!
TY for the info! Ive been using the Segelei LT/VV for a few weeks now and love it. I do wish it had a better menu system other then voltage control though. If it hits like the model I have now, but with an enhanced provari inspired menu system, I am so buying 1 !
Guessing its 18350 batteries like my LT?
